Secluded Getaway 1 Mile into the Woods

Total privacy, this scenic cabin is 1.3 miles back into the woods sitting on 40 acres of woods with a small lake and lots of wildlife. Its an eagle lovers paradise there are three eagle nests within 1/2 mile of the cabin. Enjoy the many walking trails around the property. This is also a snowmobilers haven, the trail is less than one mile away and is hooked up to the main trails for endless riding. Fishing in the area is the best in the state with lots of lakes close by.

From the moment we arrived, this cabin proved to be the perfect lakeside escape. The cozy, spotless interior and thoughtful amenities—from the fast Starlink Wi-Fi to a crackling fire pit—made our stay seamless. I even proposed to my then girlfriend (now fiancée) at sunset on the dock. Hosts were incredibly responsive with clear check-in instructions. The private dock and fire pit were highlights, and the pet-friendly policy was perfect for our pup. Five stars all around—we can’t wait to return to this hidden gem!

Vanessa’s cabin was great. Everything was lovely, from the loft to the lakeside fire pit and large tables. It was def a gem. Unfortunately a storm shut off all power on our last day, which made cleanup impossible. Vanessa refunded us our last day since we couldn’t stay without water or power (since we had an infant). In all, we would highly recommend

My girlfriend and I had an extended stay here while she was working a travel contract in Crookston. I worked from home and never had issues with the wifi. Kathryn was accommodating when we asked for an extension and was always super responsive. The building is quiet (we rarely heard other people) and there were enough cooking utensils supplied. The heat was very effective during the winter.

This Airbnb made me feel like I was at home, there’s a lady that sells Hispanic food and she’ll drop it off too!!! and it’s delicious !!! Definitely will be coming back when im in the area again!!

Place was great! Kitchen amenities were well stocked with more than most AirBNB's. Was clean and provided a perfect spot for us to enjoy the area for a weekend. All information was communicated quickly, would recommend.
