Perfect for visiting relatives or whilst working at nearby AWE. Please note that the annexe is not available for "day use" and we will expect all guests to stay overnight.

A relaxing retreat close to the Thames.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

Private access, front door leads into living area and patio doors into garden. Fully furnished, sofa bed, desk, tea, coffee making facilities, microwave, iron and free Wi-Fi. Upstairs, ensuite shower room, double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV. A door to the main house kitchen links the annex and remains locked. We do respect our guests privacy but are available if need be. A short walk from town/train stations and supermarkets, restaurants and pubs located near by.

There's a heated swimming pool on our grounds which you are welcome to use for one hour per day at a time to suit you. The woodland area is full of beautiful play areas. There is mud kitchen play, water play, a digging and planting area, swings and a slide, an easel, hammock, music area and a fairy den to explore. A unique and special glamping experience!

We are located very near the Royal Berkshire Hospital and University of Reading. We have a bedroom, garden room and bathroom for people to use during their stay (nothing is shared). There is a separate entrance to the guest's accommodation and there is no access to the main house. We have a cat who sleeps in the adjoining room (our utility room), but will not have access when guests stay. There is no breakfast supplied. There is on road parking on weekday evenings and weekends.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to Paddington.

Lovely room and having a private bathroom, not shared was a plus. Very quick and clear communication from Emma whenever I needed to know anything. Excellent value for money and perfect location for what i needed. Accommodation was exactly like the photos. Felt very homely. I would 100% return if in the area again.

Di’s place was the perfect bolthold, quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Di was welcoming and responsive and a very nice host. The place was beautifully clean, comfy bed and everything I needed. I would definitely recommend.

A three-story brick building is framed by landscaped greenery. Balconies extend from the second and third floors. Large windows provide natural light to the apartments. A paved path leads to the entrance, while nearby trees enhance the outdoor space.

Danuta is a charming and friendly host who deserves the very best of guests for her and her daughter to share her home with. It was a pleasure to meet them and the coffee was excellent. Would definitely recommend especially for those 6ft tall or less as otherwise the bed might be a little small. Would stay again

I had a fantastic stay at Rosalind’s place! From start to finish, everything was smooth and very comfortable. Rosalind was an exceptional host. She was very warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful offering every helpful suggestion she could think of (from transport, food, local pubs, etc). The room was very clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
