The Little Dunnels

StaceyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a really fantastic stay at Little Dunnels, the accommodation is beautifully presented and exactly as described, if not better than what we were expecting. Everything was exceptionally clean, with a high quality finish throughout. Everything we needed was there, and the hosts had left us some bread, milk and eggs, which was really lovely touch. Anyone would be lucky to stay here, it really felt like home from home. We would love to return in the near future as we have family living in the area. Thank you Little Dunnels!

Enclosed garden, footpath walk to Rutland Water

EmRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The place is absolutely gorgeous—picturesque, spotless, and perfect for the three of us. The location is ideal, with a nearby footpath that provides easy access to Rutland Water. It’s also just a short drive to both Oakham and Stamford, and there’s a charming pub within walking distance. The property offers off-road parking for two cars and feels very secure. The front garden is a real sun trap and a lovely spot to relax. Inside, the cottage is beautifully decorated, with clean and well-thought-out spaces. The kitchen is well equipped, even including cleaning products and washing-up supplies. On arrival there was local bread and milk which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were spotless—we loved the wallpaper in the loo. The bedrooms suited our needs perfectly. It was very hot during our stay, but the cottage stayed cool downstairs, which was ideal! We really enjoyed our stay with Richard and Joanna and would definitely return!

Beautiful Grade II Listed Barn Conversion

HelenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thank you Olivia and family for an amazing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful property. Duddington is a beautiful village and all the locals were very friendly and welcoming. Your property had everything we needed and the additional extras like the teabags and coffee pods were great. We only needed to bring our food and toiletries everything else was provided. If we are ever looking for somewhere to stay in the area we would definitely book this property again.

Modern house in Stamford

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great house to bring our family together for an event in the local area. The host was extremely helpful in the lead up to our arrival, happy to answer any questions we had. They were very accommodating and we were very pleased that they were able to offer a later check out. Thank you for all your help and a lovely stay.
A soft, plush sheep toy is positioned on a beige carpet, adding a playful touch to the room. Behind it, a wooden dresser with three drawers and decorative handles rests against the wall, accompanied by a simple mirror atop the dresser reflecting the cozy space.

Puddle Duck Cottage

RebekahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a beautiful cottage. Sally really has thought of everything to make it a home from home. It was very clean with everything we needed for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. She went above and beyond, providing little extras and even a gift for our dog which was gratefully received. Lots of helpful info provided for the local area and walks etc, which is so valuable when visiting somewhere new. So happy to have found this beautiful, tranquil place. We will visit again.

Spacious 2 bed barn conversion in Rutland

HelenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Really comfortable, peaceful and spacious place for four of us to stay (regrettably) for just one night. Frances gave us a warm welcome and even showed up with umbrellas when the heavens opened. We enjoyed having a look at the fish in the lovely pond and the beehive. Fantastically located if, like us, you are eating at The Olive Branch.

Beautiful and Quaint Converted Stable in Rutland

WilliamRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at the house, which has a lot of character being so small. It was particularly fun cooking in the mini kitchen which was well equipped :) Douglas went out of his way to source some camping chairs for us on a warm day so we could sit outside and enjoy the sun which we really appreciated. Overall, we thought that both the house and the hosts were lovely and would certainly stay again.
