Here, the whole family can lower their shoulders, unplug, and really get the good cabin feel. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. It's at a great location in the mountains. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, skiing and by bike. Right outside the door there is a well developed network of about 100 km of well-groomed skiing trails. There is a short distance to the ski resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 min) and Sälen (35 min). Here you are close to activities both for big and small and to all seasons.

The farm is about a 15 minute drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car to stay with us. You will find an operating farm, with tractor driving at times but also silence, nature, trees, fields and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see moose and deer on the land. Occasionally, it's the northern lights!

A small paradise in the middle of the city center! I stayed in this charming house in the middle of Gjøvik and could not have been more pleased. Although the location is super central, it feels like staying in an idyllic, peaceful cottage — a bit like in the movie The Holiday, just with a touch of more luxury. The house was thoroughly cozy, quiet and surrounded by greenery, and I felt at home from the first moment. I'd love to come back here! Highly recommended.

Stayed a week with our dog at Kjetil’s place and it was honestly one of our favorite rented places that we have done through Airbnb. I booked the place for my husband and son.. They are fishermen,so it was convenient for them that the place was close to the water. When it comes to the house,they were also very satisfied,because the kitchen was fully equipped. During the cold weather, they were able to flood. Everything worked as it should and, moreover, they slept well. Communication with the hosts was great. Thank you very much for a beautiful and extraordinary experience.

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

Fantastic great cabin on a lovely view plot. Sun from 8 am to 10 pm. The cabin had little wear and tear and was experienced as in very good condition. Beautiful with indoor swimming pool/sauna/shower. We had a great time the days we were here 😀

Beautiful apartment right on the slopes, views of the ski slopes, all afternoon sun. Very suitable for early skiing from 7:00 (2x a week) and night skiing. Nearby cross-country skiing. Good kitchen equipment. Large comfy beds. Bathroom very nice. Washing machine available but not used. We will be happy to come back.

It was amazing to stay at Guro's place. ❤️ The area is beautiful and our group of 12 friends was lucky with excellent weather which meant that we were able to use the pool and jacuzzi loads. The house is huge and was sparkling clean when we arrived and kitchen had everything we needed. We even fired up the pizza oven for one evening. Really great stay and super affordable for what it has to offer.

Our dear Tim and Camilla ❤️🤗❤️TAKKI TAKKI 🙏 We don’t even know where to start and if we can convey the emotions that we received from this little corner of paradise and it’s all thanks to two wonderful people Tim and Camilla who greeted us with great love from the first seconds of our acquaintance🥰 Everything is actually much more beautiful than in the photo and we recommend 1000% that it is worth it, if you love and respect nature, you will experience indescribable and unforgettable moments, starting with a house with a terrace, the sound of a river, birds singing and the ringing of grazing sheep. And all this right before you leave the door. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail and made with love❤️ We need a book to describe everything, it will remain in ours❤️ ❤️ We were very sorry that we spent so little time and we had to leave it all because we really felt real life in everything that surrounded us. Very nice house in a beautiful setting. We went for a hike and enjoyed the views over the lake. After a short refreshing bath in the Lake (theres a beach a few minutes away by car) we really enjoyed the comfort of the living room. It also has a nice porch up front and another possibility to sit outside in the back. The bed is also very comfortable. We would definately stay here again!
