Ogletree Cabin is a private retreat nestled on 85 acres of stunning hardwood and pines- just a three-minute walk to lovely Toad Lake. The beach is a great jumping-off place to swim out to the raft, fish on Toad Lake (where we are the only house on the lake), sit on the screened-in porch off of the fishing shack, and go kayaking and canoeing. Please take note that the cabin has one bedroom with queen and a loft with three beds accessible by a ladder only and not safe for young children.

Kitchen was very well equipped and had extras like dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels and tissues. Front porch has nice chairs with cushions and a swing. We had one minor maintenance issue that was fixed promptly. Terri and Rick were very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. Barnes State Park Beach is a must-see. We rented a tri-toon from Torch Lake Pontoon Rentals and they did a very nice job, too. Overall, excellent experience.

A compact bathroom features a modern vanity with a white, double sink and a large mirror above. Natural wood accents on the ceiling add warmth. A washer/dryer combo unit is visible next to the vanity, with a basket of neatly folded towels placed on top.
