Great host accommodated a late evening checkin and answered questions quickly and promptly!!

The rental unit was great for our weekend stay. Communication was great and check in was easy!

Great place in south bend! Right on the river so very peaceful area with parks in walking distance. I stayed there for a wedding at Notre Dame and it worked perfectly- super close to all the events and very easy to get in and out of.

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

We actually didn’t get to stay due to a family emergency, but the host was very understanding and supportive. I would recommend staying there even without seeing the place lol The instructions to get into the space were great and I can tell there would have been zero issues.

Super clean and new space right in the heart of downtown South Bend. A stone’s throw from Corby’s! Host was extra helpful and picked up right away when I had a question checking in.

Our stay at Silk on the Bend was absolutely amazing! We were pleasantly surprised with how baby friendly this place was! We traveled with a 10 month old and there was a high chair, baby bouncer, toys, and a crib available for us. The space was very clean and spacious and the view was incredible. The host was also amazing and very attentive. We had a great time and we will definitely be back to stay at Silk on the Bend!! :)

Comfortable beds, well-provided kitchen, luxurious towels—many thoughtful details were dotted around the house to make our stay fun and memorable as a family “reunion” spot!

We are full time RV’ers and our RV had to go in for some repairs so we stayed at Cindy’s place while repaires were being completed. Cindy and John have a beautiful home next to the Elkhart River. Lots of mature trees on a large piece of property. They were both very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch in those yellow porch chairs watching the birds at the bird feeders. Sleeping at night is very quiet and peaceful. This was a great place to stay.

Really nice place for entertaining

I traveled from Florida to visit family, and staying at this home was truly the perfect choice. From the very start, communication with Nikki and Josh was seamless. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The house itself exceeded all expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed, including toiletries, which was such a thoughtful touch. The amenities were top-notch and made our stay feel extra comfortable and convenient. One of the absolute highlights was the boat, which added such a special element to the trip and made our time on the lake unforgettable. This home felt like a true getaway and had everything we could have asked for. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Spent the weekend and had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful and as pictured and described. The view off the lake is amazing and lots of breeze coming off of it. The beds were extremely comfortable and had nice pillows, linens, and extra pillows and blankets. Fans were provided in both bedrooms. Water was hot and all hygiene was provided. The kitchen is well stocked. The hosts were reachable and gave clear directions on entrance and how to work the air, heat, and TV. Would definitely recommend to stay here and make sure to go for a visit in Shipshewana.

Marita’s house was perfect for our trip! We had 7 adults and 2 kids and the space was just what we needed. Lots of beds and space to spread out, but also space to be together. The pond was full of fish, there were tons of activities to do (kayaking, canoeing, playing in the sand, fishing, etc.), and the property was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

My family stayed for a week. I liked that the home was spacious and had many spaces to hang out. There is a living room, room to watch TV and a nice hang out area downstairs for kids or adults to play games. The outside area was perfect with a fire pit near the water and a deck with a table for six and a gas grill. We grilled most nights. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of plates, bowls, serving wear, grilling equipment, etc. We never lacked anything during the stay. The master bedroom is quite nice with a very comfortable king bed, view of the lake and small balcony with a good size connecting bathroom. Our host was very responsive with quick responses to any questions. The home had everything we needed for a family stay. We played a board game one night and rented a pontoon. We took the kayaks out daily and many days also took the canoe out. We would return again.

Our group had a great stay. Nice notes on amenities, brief history of the house, and the local area. Little details like the notes to let us know how things worked was nice. Towels in every room. Worked great for our group.
