Ketzür is located on the north shore of Lake Beetzsee and has its own child-friendly beach. Nature lovers can hike through the beautiful countryside here, for example, to the crane observatory or also by bike on the Storchenradweg [Stork Cycling Trail]. A locked bicycle garage is available to my guests.

The narrow, two-story half-timbered house was built shortly after the great city fire in 1617. For generations, there were Elbe fishermen at home here, driving downhill in the spring. Our house is the right with the red door. For a number of people up to 2 people, you rent the ground floor and the first floor, the attic remains unrented, so you will have the house to yourself in any case. The ancient house was built after the great city fire in 1617. We tried to work out the old spirit of the building and, using oak floorboards, new and old beams, clay plaster and historical tiles from Saxon manufacture, left the house just as crooked and lopsided as the times have shaped it.
