Family-friendly vacation rentals in El Poblenou, Sant Martí

Looks better than the photos. The apartment is huge and very comfortable. Loved the decor and very convenient location. The doorman of the building was also quite friendly and helpful. My only note (which is not the host’s fault) is that there was a strong sewer smell in one of the bathrooms which would then make the bedroom that was attached to that bathroom smell the same. Other than that we were very pleased with everything.

We had a fabulous time staying here. The villa was amazing with beautiful views. Lots of space and the pool was a great addition in the heat. Great base to get to the F1 circuit. Would definitely return 😃

My family and I loved this place! The neighborhood is in a great location with easy access to the metro, bus stops, and Taxis. However, it is also very walkable to get to the beach, gothic quarter, Parc de la Ciutadella, and many other places! The inside of the apartment was very cozy and we really enjoyed having the balcony to sip our morning coffees. The hosts, especially Cristina, were extremely helpful, she greeted us the our first day and left us a bottle of wine in the fridge. We highly recommend this place to anyone that is open to exploring the city of Barcelona😊

The host was very friendly and gave us great suggestions on what to see and where to eat. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures and very clean. The location is excellent, although it can get a little noisy at night.

We loved the neighbourhood of the duplex – tasty bakeries, cafés, eateries, and groceries are round the corner and Sant Boi train station only a few minutes away by walk, yet it’s nice & quiet inside. We went to the major tourist attractions downtown by public transportation (~half an hour one way) and to the airport directly by bus L77 (~20 min). Spacious, cozy, accessible and with the basic amenities we needed, this duplex was perfect for our group of six. Raquel was responsive and very easy to communicate with. Will book it again if we come back to visit Barcelona.

AirBnB homes are so corporate in their presentations now, wanting to appear as 5-star resorts. And, it is nothing wrong with that. But, if I wanted to stay in a hotel, I would have chosen to stay in a hotel. No, I wanted charm...something warm...something that appeared lived-in and loved. And this exactly what Mar's home presented to me. Yes, as some previous reviewers have noted; the home's farcade appears aged, and it's noticeable. But, that's when the charm begins to sit in. You start to look for other imperfections and you simply won't find them unless you are hard to please. The home is spacious, unique in style, well-equipped, and picturesque. More importantly, the hosts are execptional people that care about their guests. I had an issue at the home one night of my stay. Mar and Marc went above and beyond their call of duty as hosts to rectify the problem and made sure I was cared for. That was impressive to me. That added to the charm...made me feel loved!

She was willing to help throughout our stay and the apartment is really beautiful, impeccable and with an extraordinary location. We'll definitely be back!!

We found Gerardo’s apartment perfect for our visit to Barcelona. It is only a block away from the Segrada Familia, easy to get in and out of, spotlessly clean, in a good neighborhood, and roomy for our family of four. Gerardo was easy to communicate with and helpful. It is easy to recommend this apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Victoria/Paula’s house. It was located in very friendly area with restaurants and transportation near by, it was very easy to walk to grocery stores and cafes near by and had a great time in Barcelona!

Good place accessible pool plenty transport links to attractions and busier areas nearby. Lovely restaurants and bakeries nearby within 10/15 minute walk. Plenty amenities to cook with and watch telly and good size balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect — close to everything yet quiet. But the highlight was definitely the terrace — it made our mornings and evenings truly special. Would love to come back!

We had a great weekend at Mercedes's. Mercedes is a very pleasant, smiling person, always available to chat and help. More than a host, it's like she's family. she gives good tips on places to visit and other things. Its accommodation is very well equipped, very functional and the pool a big plus after days of sightseeing in the heat! Barcelona is 30 mins by train and it takes 20 mins walk to get to the train station. There are buses to pass 50 m from his house but not often, especially on weekends. We ate in 1 great restaurant la Ponderosa 10 mins walk or paella, tapas are excellent and cheap! To summarize, I highly recommend Mercedes' accommodation, which is quiet and far from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona, for relaxing evenings and restful nights. We will come back without hesitation. Frédérique

Would definitely recommend. Wife and I stayed with our 2 year old son, and they had a booster seat and pack n play all setup up on our arrival. Location is close to the beach, and walkable to most attractions. Host is responsive and provided recommendations for our stay.

The Place was clean an very beautiful!

Myself and 10 friends booked this villa for a week and it was such a fantastic experience! The villa and surrounding grounds are spectacular. The villa is clean, bedrooms comfortable and all modern appliances to cook for yourself and plenty of space for up to 12 people. There is a small grocery shop 4 min walk away where we were able to do all of our shopping, very handy. It would be even better if there was more sun loungers for all guests for next time. Chee-Kong was great and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We plan to book again in the future.
