Beachfront vacation rentals in El Astillero

Ideal location right next to the beach & in walking distance to all things Somo. This is a beautiful area & a great jumping off place for exploring Cantabria. The apartment is very comfortable, clean & described accurately. Our only negative is that this place is managed by a seemingly large company lacking a personal touch - the text messages we sent were responded to by an AI bot that wasn't always accurate with information & they were not at all flexible with our checkout time. They wanted us to pay for an additional hour stay even though we had rented for a week. Otherwise a great experience & would highly recommend!

One of the best apartments we've ever stayed in, everything was super clean, Begoña was very nice, she recommended things to do, everything was very clear. The house had all kinds of amenities. I think it's the only place we've been where we can go in and live a normal life without having to go to a supermarket to buy basic things. We'd be happy to come back another time. PS: He left us 2 umbrellas ☂️ and a parasol in the apartment, ⛱️ which was a luxury, as well as some beach chairs.

Encantados! Belén was a great host, she was always available and everything was easy on her part. The apartment is great and its terrace a gozada, it is very well located inside Somo and is a good starting point to get to know Cantabria. We'll be back!

We went to spend Christmas and felt right at home. We went with our dog and they didn't put any sticks on us. The perfect apartment, and very close to the beach And Gloria as a very good host, pending our arrival and any questions we had, she was quick to respond

Second time stay in 3 weeks with Luis as a couple and our dog Archie - just a brilliant stay, central to all walks and bike rides, also Luis, wife, and young kid so friendly and hospitable - they made Santander a really great destination for us - if you arrive on Brittany Ferries don’t flee, stay and explore for a few days this hidden gem - also stay in Luis place to add the sparkle.

My husband and I stayed with our little dog in Carlos' apartment and it was a very good stay. A few steps away we have a very quiet beach that we enjoyed very much and much more our little dog since the beach was almost for us, there were very few people We did have to drive to eat because there weren't many restaurants nearby. Carlos was a delight and was attentive to us both on arrival and advising us on where to eat and what to visit A 10 as a host . We will certainly return. Thanks for everything. ☺️

Castro-Urdiales is a fascinating place and this apartment was just the right choice for me. My friend and I found it clean, comfortable and modern.

I will definitely be back in Suances and if America has her apartment available, I'll be there. The apartment is beautiful, with good views, and a good location (near the promenade). It has all the comforts to make you feel at home. He even left us bread, muffins, and coffee... all so that you can have breakfast the next day (and a few more days). America welcomed us with all the kindness in the world, explained everything about the apartment and its surroundings, and was attentive to the phone if we needed anything. We took home a wonderful memory and want to repeat.

Charo was fantastic, the duplex is beautiful with great views, super nice stay, swimming pool, jacuzzi and fantastic surroundings. A plus is the parking space in the same building. A 10 for the stay. Thank you for your kindness, Charo.

Great apartment for family with kids. There were 4 adults and 2 kids. Everyone had a space for himself. Close to city center and to the beach. Garage is very difficult to park at first especially with large suv we had.

We had an incredible stay at Angel's place. The apartment was exactly as we expected. Centrally located in Castro with a short distance to everything you need. Also need to pay tribute to Angel for the way he was as a host. He took care of us from the start and was available all the time. He even showed up when it was impossible for us to get a taxi in the evening in Bilbao. A very kind, helpful and pleasant man. We would love to come back here and would recommend the place to everyone.

Both the house and the surroundings are perfect for a few days of disconnection, especially for families.

Great accommodation, I recommend it to a lot of colleagues, great location for an evening stroll to a super nice little bar. And the beach is a five-minute walk away, excellent, super clean, well located. I highly recommend it.

A last minute booking led us to discovering this property and location, if you want wild beach and not a lot more it is perfect. Supermarkets are only a 15 mins away. For autumn surf it was simply epic

A beautiful place to stay with a great view. Everything is very comfortable and tasteful and stylish. It has everything you need for kids. In addition, next door there are swings and an ice cream shop. The area is great. Very good recommendations from the host. Definitely a place to go back to.

Rubén was very attentive from the beginning to guide us on arrival with clear instructions and flexibility of entry. It also had a nice welcome touch to the place. The place is true to the pictures and description. The place is beautiful, well connected to essential beaches within the Quebrada Coast. Highly recommended, we'll repeat for sure.

We had a great 3 nights stay in Aninna's apartment. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the super view. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but only a short walk into town. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and we would not hesitate to book here again. A great Airbnb experience and good value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for both everyday living and cooking (the only thing missing was a kettle, but that wasn’t a big deal). The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and many cafes around. The host Pablo was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again!
