Very quiet, very relaxing stay. Nice, cozy quarters with both front porch and back deck to stretch out. My family of four fit in perfectly. A nice weekend getaway to recharge. Definitely considering going again.

Jason’s place was absolutely wonderful. Literally the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. He communicated clearly and in a timely manner. His place was spotless, full of amenities and just a pleasure to stay at - we felt right at home immediately. I cannot recommend a stay at his property enough. We hope to make it back there to soak up all the beautiful surroundings and solitude it had to offer.

Airbnb automatically confirmed our reservation before the host had approved it, and unfortunately, the home wasn’t available for all the dates we had booked.Thankfully, Mallory responded quickly and went above and beyond to help us find an alternative that was perfect for our family. Nestled right on the water, the setting was absolutely magical: tranquil, serene, and perfect for unwinding. I’ve stayed at many places over the years, but this was hands down the cleanest property I’ve ever seen. Every detail was spotless, fresh, and clearly cared for with love. One of the biggest highlights for me? My dogs were welcome—and not just tolerated, but truly accommodated! The space felt totally safe for them to roam and relax, which gave me such peace of mind. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high-end comfort with pet-friendly warmth. Whether you’re looking to unplug and recharge, or just enjoy some quality time by the water, this is the perfect spot. I’m already dreaming of my next visit. A Novel Stay was a great location for us. We went to fish at a tournament so needed a place close to the Lake. The home was extremely clean and had lots of extras. There was plenty of space to park and charge our boats. The Blackstone grill was great so we could cook for a crowd easily. The oversized games were a hit for the teenage boys with us and the coffee bar was a hit in the morning for the adults. I would definitely book this place again.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the back deck and listening to the birds sing. This is a perfect place for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat in to nature. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We can't wait to come back!

We had a beautiful weekend here! The porch, pool and kayaks made the weekend amazing. The house is large and has lots of space! The owners were very responsive and made the weekend perfect!

My husband and I took my 9 yr-old niece and 12 yr-old daughter on a little lakehouse vacation. We enjoyed our stay...and the girls loved the heated pool (the lake water was still very cold at the end of May). On a cool and cloudy afternoon, we enjoyed a couple hours at the Arena Trampoline Park, an inside activity-area with trampolines, obstacle courses, slides, climbing wall, and bouncy soccer and basketball courts. We also loved our pickleball time 2 days in a row....and the area parks and restaurants. The girls swam until dark most evenings...and then especially enjoyed sharing a room that included a library of children's movies to watch on an old VHS player....they were mystified at the process. Lol! My husband and I loved the sun room, our favorite part of the lakehouse...sipping coffee, quiet conversation, perfect view to keep an eye on the girls as they swam and such peaceful outdoor scenery with the trees and lake. So many memories!

Our family loved our stay here! It was perfect for a mixture of ages (ranging from newborn to 15years old). Everyone was able to enjoy the space, the kids loved the pool, we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck overlooking the pool. The house was comfortable, it felt familiar, my husband said the decor defitnely reminded of his childhood. The home is perfect to enjoy with family and friends or to lay back and relax on a rainy day.

Renee was a great host with quick response time and provided added resources for what shelbyville had to offer. The house exceeded our expectations and we appreciated all the amenities that the house had to offer- will be recommending to other organizations to use for retreats!

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We could not have asked for more. Nancy was always checking in to see that we were not needing anything. She was wonderful and her home is extremely nice and homey. I must say the first time the auto shades went up and down on their own scared me to death. I could not figure out on how to get the shades up until I saw the remote control. I highly recommend this b&b you will love the place. So easy to find also and Nancy recommended different places to eat. There is a gas station and great place to eat right at the next street.

What a beautiful home! We only stayed one night but I wish we could e stayed a week! The house was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the backyard and dock were a hit with the kids. Blaine was very responsive to questions and was super helpful with everything. We loved it!

This home is a gem. Crystal was an excellent host! When I had a question, she was able to providea a quick response. Crystal provided a sparkling clean home stocked with everything anyone would need while relaxing by the lake. The beds are so comfortable. The Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The neiborhood is quiet and the mature trees provide beautiful breezes while enjoying the beautiful, glamorous back porch. The newly added dock for relaxing and fishing was a great addition. One can even see wildlife and deer. This is my 3rd time here and I hope for many more. Thank you Crystal.

The place was spacious enough for 5 adults, clean and comfortable. The boathouse is covered, keeping the boat dry during the rain. The neighborhood was quiet and evenings on the deck were enjoyable. Christy made sure to message during our stay and at the end to make sure everything was okay. We had a nice, relaxing vacation.
