The Old Chapel Luxury Retreat

ShirleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just beautiful. A tastefully renovated chapel with elegant furnishings and heaps of character. The well-equiped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we had lots of fun with the board games and cards provided. Ashford is a picturesque village with great dining and drinking options. A perfect spot for our family reunion.

Jack's Cottage, Curbar

TonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve just come back from a short stay at Jacks cottage, this was our first booking through Airb&b so we didn’t really know what to expect, we needn’t of worried as we thought Jacks cottage looked even better in the flesh than in the pictures so did it disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived which is great as it put us all at ease, we felt at home straight away. Jacks cottage is situated in a small and very quiet village, honestly there is no noise. We live in a busy town with road noise so going to sleep at night with no sound but the birds singing was lovely. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out walking and again was spotless. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Peak District with some amazing walks right on the doorstep, we particularly enjoyed Bakewell, The Chatsworth estate and finding the very local Robin Hoods cave ( what 3 words assets.joined.offer if you struggle to find it). Thank you again Matt & Ginny for a lovely holiday

Quintessential Cottage in the Heart of Bakewell

JanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cottage was perfect for our needs especially in terms of its location so close to town. There is very limited parking and limited outside space so may not suit everyone but it was fine for us. Kitchen was very well appointed. One single room is in fact a curtained off space next to the sitting room so not ideal when others are tramping through but could be useful especially for a single person with some mobility issues as the staircase to the upstairs is very old and a little steep. There is a downstairs bathroom too. All very cosy and full of character.

Beautiful Baslow Bolthole (close to Chatsworth)

Hi Hayley Another lovely relaxing stay at Wits End Cottage. Weather was fab, we sat out each day on the terrace or in the Secret Garden. Hired bikes at Hassop and cycled the Monsal Trail, relatively flat with the epic old railway tunnels to cycle through. Enjoyed the short walk to the Chatsworth grounds and longer walk up to the House. Also the peaceful walk along the river to Calver. Will be back at Wits End shortly. Such a great location and always a treat. Thanks for everything xxx

The Carriage House at Ashford Hall

KellyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful house in a stunning location. Loved being near the sheep and looking out at them everyday. Appreciate the chocolates on the pillows and the welcome gift basket of treats and milk in the fridge - all makes a massive difference. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much for a lovely holiday

Unique & stylish converted Chapel - Peak District

JohannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for a week late May/early June and all agreed that this is one of the nicest places -- if not the nicest -- that we have ever stayed in. The airbnb itself is beautiful. Simon was a gracious and generous host and had left the kitchen stocked with all kinds of goodies which he encouraged us to consume. We had 3 dinners at the Shoulder of the Mutton -- just because we so much liked their food -- took a number of hikes, checked out Liverpool and visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park [very much worth the hour drive] and Chatworth. All was stunning. I can't recommend this place more highly.

Youlgrave luxury in the heart of the Peak District

LesleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Owl Cottage which was very comfortable and well equipped. Lots of walks in the area and great places to eat. We particularly liked the Fountain View Bakery. Had coffee there every morning and a meal one evening at the pop-up Italian restaurant . Lots of nice places to eat in Youlgreave which is a friendly and vibrant village. We had some very good walks recommended by our host and especially enjoyed the scenic loop to the Lathkill Hotel. We hope to return before too long.
