A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

For my first visit to Parthenay, I will keep a very good experience at Rebecca and Yolande's!! A small home in the heart of the city, close to pedestrian streets and the medieval neighborhood. The place is really calm, accessible and welcoming. I really recommend this studio if you are alone(-e) or as a couple and are looking for a place to stay where the car is not necessary to get around. Very nice house, very clean with quality amenities. Quiet place. We encountered a small problem with the pool and Thibaut was very responsive in trying to resolve the problem remotely , even if the problem was not completely resolved, but we were able to enjoy it and have a good holiday.

Guillaume was very available for our entire stay. I would definitely recommend Villa Coco, a typical residence in the region. The number of beds, the supply of indoor games as well as outdoor games, the heated pool and canoes are a real plus for this rental. This house is perfectly located for visits to the area but it is also quite possible to stay in the residence which is enough to itself. Thank you again so much for a lovely family holiday 😊
