Beachfront vacation rentals in Eastern Sierra

Daniel’s place was great for a quick last minute getaway. We loved the short walk to the river with our kids and dog. The hot tub was a huge plus. We enjoyed our quick stay and would definitely consider this place again.

This place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Right next to the river and you can walk to it from the site. Went in November so it was a little chilly but we got fire wood and also they provided wood as well so we just sat around the fire and watched the stars. Do bring blankets if you plan to come out when it’s cold out!

Perfect location! Todd’s lakefront home was the perfect fit for our family of five. First of all the location – right on the lake with your own private dock and all of the gear you could possibly need to enjoy it – stand up paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, floats, etc.! Everything was an excellent condition throughout. Todd‘s attention to detail in providing a well stocked kitchen with herbs and spices, Ziploc’s, paper towels, bath products, laundry detergents and all the essentials to make it an easy, relaxing stay! We appreciated the lush, beach towels, and new bath towels. Every bedroom had comfortable beds and bedding. I enjoyed using the treadmill while looking out at the peaceful serene lake. The hot tub was also a bonus! We would highly recommend Todd as a responsive host and perfect peaceful family getaway! Thank you, Todd for an amazing stay!

Grate house will be back

Serene, beautiful and comfortable! We stayed here for a multi-generational family get-together. Great views of the lake and hills from the kitchen, balcony and sitting room. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and listen to the birds and feel the breeze, to walk around the lake and to watch a few family members fish - altogether, they caught (and released) around 50 fish. We all slept so well on the very comfortable beds (so important to me). The mattresses, sheets and pillows were all super comfortable, and I loved that there were 3 king beds. Bring insect repellent, as this is the countryside, and there were both flies and mosquitoes. There were flies in the house on the first day, but then we kept windows/screens closed, and it was ok. We were not bothered by insects while having breakfast on the balcony. Bring lace-up shoes for walking around the lake, as the path is dusty, and one part is a bit steep. Check pets for stickers and burrs. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Chris and Jennifer’s home was the perfect place for us to stay in Kern over the Labor Day weekend. The home was very cozy and inviting with comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and we had everything (I mean everything!) we needed. It was lovely to have the swamp cooler to keep us cool when we were home. The property itself is centrally located and we absolutely loved going down to the private beach - it was absolutely picturesque. We will definitely be back to stay here. Thank you Chris and Jennifer for a lovely stay on the Kern River.

We had such a great stay! Quiet neighborhood, clear instructions for everything, super clean, everything was labeled —-just an absolute breeze! This is a nice house for anyone looking for the quiet of the forest. Rita and Nathan give local recs for everything. We went to Murphys for meals and wine tasting and visited the local parks and state park to get some fresh air. Kitchen was so well equipped for all our meals. If you have little ones with you, this place is a godsend. They had toys, pack and play, a crib, childproof cabinets, child proof plugs, childproof furniture—it made our lives a little easier not having to chase after the kid constantly. The fireplace is non-operational and they currently don’t have a washer dryer. Both would have been nice but we were only there a short time. And Rita and Nathan said they’re in the process of renovating so that could change by the time you book. They were honestly the most helpful hosts and so responsive. Wonderful stay!

Wow this rental thought of everything, the only thing that would have made it better would be a chaise lounge or someplace to take a nap on the porch but other thank that this place had all that you need and more. Unlike other rentals I’ve stayed in this one in particular had everything you would need and then some. The lake is so clean and the temperature was perfect for a swim. The area is family friendly, safe, peaceful and very quiet. It definitely didn’t seem like a party lake, which was perfect for me. Give me nature and peaceful vibes and I’m happy. The wildlife was amazing! We loved all the wildlife we saw including a family of deer, geese and other beautiful birds. The home was clean, comfortable and had lots of little extras. The host was very kind and responsive. Even reminded us that we needed reservations for Yosemite. If you’re looking for a quiet, fun getaway in nature, in a comfortable home with lots of bonuses, this is your perfect lake getaway.

I didn’t realize how amazing this location was until we stepped onto the property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Two doors down from the Pine Mountain Lake main beach! Home was clean, the game room was so fun! We lived down there between shuffle board and pool! There are also a TON OF BLOW UP WATER TOYS in a smaller garage area with an automatic blower too. Life jackets in all sizes, awesome kiddie toys with a beach blanket and an easy to use touch screen spa

My family loved our stay at the cabin! The view was beautiful and location of the dock was private enough for our family to swim without the rush of the beach. We had some trouble with the kayak registration but the host made up for it by giving us extra checkout time. They were wonderful, responsive and accommodating. The kids had a ton of fun with all the water activities and games. Already made recommendations to our friends! Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful house, my group is down to come back again for a ski trip!

Lake front property perfect for just hanging out in the lake and jumping off the dock. The girls and I did yoga on the patio one morning, and dinner on the balcony of the big house one night. It was the perfect stay for us.

Beautiful stay! A small space but perfect for two. Right infront of the lake, views and amazing and very accessible to the lake. We ended up renting a boat at a water front business across from us. Host is very responsive and friendly! We had trouble opening the door and she immediately answered my call. Only thing, our cabin (cabin 2) was the only cabin without a fire pit which we would have loved! All the other cabins were making use of theres.

This is a fantastic house. The location is perfect to be in a calm environment but close to everything that Tahoe has to offer. The house was super clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The floor plan is open and there is plenty of room for everyone. We were with our 3 kids and had a great time. The kids enjoyed playing in the backyard. I also had to work one day and the wifi was very reliable. We highly recommend it. Michelle was very responsive, and made the process very easy.

Michele was very flexible with check in in upon arrival , she was always responsive very quick whenever I had a question. The home was even more beautiful in person. House was very spotless and clean and everything that we needed was just there. Overall I would rent this home again in the future. Thank you Michelle!

We made a multigenerational trip to Bear Valley (grandparents, parents, and grandkids) and stayed in Robin’s cabin. We could not have had a better experience. If you know bear valley, you will appreciate that this is a classic bear valley cabin but one that has been lovingly and meticulously maintained and appointed. It’s the perfect cabin in the woods and so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

This cabin was exactly as described! First, the home was spotless. Second, there was ample bedding, extra pillows/blankets & the kitchen had enough pots/pans and dishes that we didn’t feel like we were doing the dishes every time we ate. The neighborhood was quiet except for a wild dog that was present upon check-in. I called animal control & notified Michelle. She personally came out to make sure everything was taken care of and we never had any issues after that. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the house size let our party of 9 not feel like they were sitting on top of each other.
