Cabin vacation rentals in Eastern Scheldt

Wagma greeted us with a smile and was so welcoming. She walked us through the steps for using the sauna, fireplace, and hot tub. We loved that the hot tub was fire powered! We felt like we were in our own oasis even though we were so close to Efteling and the town. It was very easy to drive and park in the area. The floorplan was unlike any Airbnb that we have stayed at. We felt like we were at a resort. This place is perfect for a restful vacation.

The cottage is very cosy and clean. The sauna and hot tub are top notch. Wood is abundant. The beds are nice, so definitely recommended. Ghent, Bruges and Knokke are all fun to do as a getaway from Aalter.

We enjoyed our stay at Quinta's place very much. Beautiful log cabin with wonderful jacuzzi and spacious garden where our dog could run. Highly recommended!

What a lovely place for a weekend getaway with friends. Communication with Evelien was quick and smooth. The cottage was clean, spacious, quiet and had nice facilities. Recommended!

The Kota of Jolanda and Falko is a wonderfully cozy place and nicely decorated. Because it is made of wood, it feels very natural inside and you can relax. The garden is beautifully landscaped with lots of nice corners and beautiful views. Its sunsets are phenomenal! You can walk into the beautiful Zouweboezem in no time. Jolanda and Falko like to think along about beautiful walks and are open for a chat. For fridge and toilet, you have to walk a little bit through the garden. If you adjust to that, that's no problem. The wifi doesn't reach to the Kota right now, but we're still thinking about editing this in the future. By the way, it does offer a chance to really switch off😉. All in all, a nice place with friendly people and a beautiful area.

We liked the place very much and we would book again anytime! It is very modernly furnished and it was very clean! The highlight was the hot tub! When the hot tub is on, you can't hear the highway at all! On the other side of the property, the property is right next to the forest. We enjoyed the tranquility and the location right in nature very much! Yorick is an excellent host and responds very quickly!

The house is new and is well equipped. All you need is availiable. The house is cozy, the surroundings are nice. The owner is welcoming and is always at hand.

Fantastic weekend spent in the chalet, wonderful tranquility and great location. Also the view of the field with the sheep and their lambs is unforgettable and priceless.

Very nice vacation home, with all the necessary amenities and very nice furniture. The bedding is very comfortable. The owners Willy and Rita are very responsive and kind. The house is located in a quiet and peaceful location. I would highly recommend.

Perfect for disconnecting green! Warmth and comfort to let yourself live and stroll

We were very kindly welcomed with a very thoughtful glass of wine and beer. Beautiful place, very quiet. Opportunities for walks and restaurant very close by with nice terrace. Only a pity that this restaurant is closed on Mon and Tue.

We were here for the third time and the next vacation is already in the planning…beautiful location, very nice hosts. A rustic cozy cottage, the pavilion and the beautiful garden invite you to linger. The dog also feels very comfortable, the walk through the fields past cows, sheep and horses starts right outside the door...the kilometer-long beaches of Banjaard and Vrouwenpolder are 20 minutes away by car, around the nearby Veerser Meer there are many small places to discover, also perfect for bike tours.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Sonjas place! The little house is tastefully made and Sonja is super friendly. We felt right at home :) Hope to be back to also jump in the pool next time!

...we had a really great time with Corienne, felt very comfortable & above all welcome. Communication was easy, super hospitable and if we needed anything very helpful. The house is super nice and quiet and around us everything was green and the garden really nice & quaint and with lots of little loving details. Super privacy. The house was very cozy, lovingly furnished and above all very clean, we didn't miss it. Corienne had even provided us with 2 bicycles, so we could explore the area a bit. We had it very cold & rainy in mid-September, but Corienne welcomed us in the already beautifully warm and heated accommodation, thank you for this. We can only say "thank you" for everything!!! I'd love to come back.

This chalet is truly a hidden gem! Upon arrival, you don't expect such a garden paradise to be hidden behind the row of houses!!! Completely private, just for you! The Chalet itself is well furnished and equipped with all comforts. We had quite chilly weather the first day and then the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the towel dryer certainly came in handy. A fire bowl, a stove, a bench in front of the cottage, everything is there! Bregje and Eric (and their cute kids) are very friendly and yet reserved hosts. The location is ideal for visiting The Hague, Delft, the coastal municipalities by bike. You cycle along the water into the busy residential area and in the evening you can completely relax in your own garden oasis! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay! The lodging is spacious and practically furnished, with all the amenities we needed. The privacy is absolute, which makes the stay even more pleasant. We really were able to relax and enjoy the tranquility. We are already looking forward to our return next year. Thanks for the good time!

We spent a lovely few days in Annelies’ and Maarten’s beautiful home. The view onto the heath is mesmerizing and the garden is wonderful to relax in. The house is also very well equipped for a comfortable stay. Communication with Annelies and Maarten was easy and swift. We would like to visit again!

We felt very comfortable and had a totally blessed time in the quiet surroundings. The house was worth every penny and a real stroke of luck. A spontaneous booking was possible. In addition, 2 parking spaces for cars and enough space for each person, outside and inside - even for seven.

Beautiful a-frame cabin in a lush green bungalow park. The cabin is very charming and has all you need for a great stay. Even though there are several bungalows around, you feel very private and secluded thanks to the lush surroundings. The evenings were still chilly, but the gas stove warms the whole cabin pretty quickly. Great area for walking, biking and visiting small cute villages and towns.
