This is the perfect place to stay if you want peacefulness and privacy. The view from the apartment was amazing. René is a very kind and welcoming host. She sent us detailed instructions to check-in and recommendations on places around. The apartment itself is very cozy and neat. There is everything you might need and even more. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, there is a bar and a supermarket nearby. We should have stayed longer, but we hope to be back some day. Thanks for everything.

I haven't lived in Gonubie for over 20 years. Waking up to the sun rising over the Indian Ocean was spectacular, felt like I had never left. This is a great place to stay, was like a home from home.

One of those Airbnb’s I didn’t want to leave. This place is stunning, the photos almost capture how great it is. Very comfortable, clean, quiet, safe, with a lovely view across to distant mountains. Helpful host whose local recommendations were spot on. Nice touches with biscuits and chocolate (you don’t get this much these days). WiFi worked well. Bed was comfortable. Nice shower and bath. Secure parking. Walkable into PB.

We stayed at Henk’s place over Easter break and it was amazing. Everything (and I really mean everything) in the apartment has been thought of. The kitchen and bathroom is well-equipped well beyond the basics The views are amazing and the apartment is even more amazing. We didn’t want to leave. Henk is a great host, communicative and caring throughout the stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed Plett as well, something that was a first for me on AirBnB. I would definitely choose to stay at his place and won’t stop recommending it to others.

If you’re looking for a romantic getaway or just a break from the city this is your spot. Absolutely incredible views and great light in the common area, bathroom bigger than you think. Gayle, is very responsive and accommodating. We felt safe during our trip. The shared common areas make great for spending time by the fire. Definitely worth the visit. BOOK NOW before someone takes your dates.

Thanks to the hosts that were very friendly and helpful! This is a place to destress and unwind, so good for the soul. We’ve never been to the Eastern Cape and we saw some beautiful little towns and lovely countryside. The unit was comfortable and lovely decorated. We will be back!

Beautiful place with a fantastic location. If you’re a surfer - you can’t find a better location! The direct access to the beach is amazing. Communication with Tanya was great - friendly, accommodating, forthcoming and uncomplicated.

We had a fantastic stay at Sharon’s place! The home was cozy, clean, and beautifully set up — we felt comfortable right away. One of the highlights was how close it was to the beach, just a short walk away, which made our time even more special. Pretty nice modern place with luxury bathroom and kitchen. Very stylish. Secure parking and safe area. The local restaurants (Mexican, 1 min by foot) are very good.

What an absolute GEM of a place. The location is super safe, quiet, clean and cosy. My Partner and I felt right at home! Sarah was kind enough to provide us vouchers to super cute restaurants in Plett. That was a great touch. I would 100% recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking to book in Plett. Beautifully located within the Thesen Island precinct with access to its facilities this unit is a penthouse with convenient access from your parking directly to the unit. Well maintained and kept well by Douglas who communicates clearly and is always close by if you need additional support.

Absolutely amazing house and location. We could watch the waves break from various places in the house. All bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. Will def be back!

Had a wonderful stay. The unit is fully equipped, with far more things than I usually use. Addie provided enough clean towels for the stay, which was lovely. WiFi connected to a backup power source so that one can stay connected during load shedding, which is a big plus. Loved everything about the unit!
