Pet-friendly vacation rentals in East Tawas

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lakeside cottage! My husband and I stayed here with three of our adult children, their spouses, and our grandchildren, and everything exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing family getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The cottage was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked—from the kitchen essentials to cozy bedding and everything in between. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy, yet the common areas were perfect for gathering, sharing meals, and making memories together. The location on the lake offered a peaceful view and opportunities for fun. tThe grandkids fished all day, we cooked out for dinner and we ended the evening with a wonderful fire at the fire pit provided, every moment felt special. We’re so grateful for such a seamless and enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning!

Aaron and Samantha communicated very well with us! We enjoyed our stay in their cute two bedroom 1 bath house that looked right on the water! Beautiful area! We couldn’t figure out the front load washer and dryer settings though so unless you know those washers and dryers you might have trouble doing laundry. Other than that, neighbors are very night and it is quiet. We hope to stay here again next year for the holiday weekend

My wife and I along with two 13 year old girls went from June 8th-June-13th. What you see is what you get, beautiful area and lake. It really is a home away from home. Clean spacious and so cozy. We just can't say enough The girls went for walks down to the bridge to the park area across the lake, they enjoyed it. We rented a pontoon from Sunny Bunns and wow they gave us a deal! plenty to do on the lake and so much around to do. Thank you Suzanne for very relaxing family vacation.

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

An excellent and peaceful stay with beautiful lake views, accomodations that make it easy to feel right at home and excellent additions to bring your stay over the top like the barrel sauna!

Kelsey’s place was a lifesaver. My friend and I and her anxious dog had driven from Florida as she had bought a new house in Hale. When we got there it was nowhere near finished and it came as a bit of a shock! I started searching for an air bnb close by and was amazed to find Kelsey’s house. It was already the afternoon. But she said of course just give me a couple of hours to prepare. It was absolutely ideal for us and only 4 minutes drive from my friends house. Plus a small deck area at the back to relax with a drink and checkout the wildlife and birds. There is a diner very close by along with a couple of shops and the local bar. It was beautifully quiet and all our stressed vanished. All facilities were good and Kelsey responded almost immediately to any queries. Long Lake very close. Thank you Kelsey for being our lifesaver. Gill, Fiona and Riley the retriever.

We were in Ossineke for my mother in laws funeral, so a nice quiet place was wonderful and appreciated. We have 2 Pugs; they loved the yard and barking/chasing all the birds. Very spacious and cozy. We’ve tried every hotel in the area and this is where we will stay moving forward.

The house was better than the pictures! The views were priceless! Even through some colder temps we enjoyed every single space this house had to offer! Fireplace, jetted tubs, children’s play nooks full of toys, and we even enjoyed the heated pool in 60degree weather! With water levels low the property had a nice little beach. We really enjoyed walks in the sand bars. The location is so close to town, you could easily ride your bike everywhere in Caseville. Even with only 3 bedrooms, there was plenty of space for our group of 12! Misty the host was quick to respond and made our stay easy! The house had everything we needed and felt so cozy! We can’t wait to book again for next year!

Benjamin was so helpful! We had a little trouble with the pool, but he was very kind and took care of it right away. The place was spotless! We relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet! I would definitely go there again. Thank you for being such a great host!

Stay was great. Clean, comfortable, relatively close to beach access. As advertised. Great for the dog too.

Great location for kayakers! Pool table, Corn hole set, and fire pit on site provided plenty of other options for recreation. Beds were comfortable. Great area! Lovell Riverside Bar is a great place at the other end of Lovell street.

Perfect for what we needed it for! As described, a shack that is secluded in the middle of the woods. We got to bring our dog. The property is great for outdoor activities and having up north fun!

We were looking for a peaceful retreat-like property and this filled the bill. Every morning we were greeted by colorful sunrises. Each evening we had a full view of the star-filled sky, anchored by a brilliant moon. The property is such that guests have a unobstructed full view of the lake through t the spacious glass door windows. We began our days sitting on the beach as the sun rose. Each evening we ended the day gathered around a fire which was fueled by a generous stockpile of wood provided by Mark and Company. The property has plenty of woods, enough for a mini-wilderness walk. Most everything is provided for every day needs. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. Beds are super comfortable. We even surpised ourselves by collaborarting on assembling a jig-saw puzzle provided by the property. Thanks Mark. Great job.

Great house right on the water! Super clean and comfy beds. Kitchen was well equipped and house has a a great deck and fire pit. The kayaks and water toys were much appreciated. We would definitely return! Karla was an awesome host!

The cabin was nice and felt homey, would definitely stay here again and recommend!

we went up for just the day -- a little fathers day gathering so we could get out of town, enjoy some lake views, have a couple of good meals and all hang out at a sweet cute pretty spot. the house hit the marks on all of this and more. It's incredibly spacious, right on the water, easy access in all ways, super comfy ... ideal if going up with a buncha folks to hang at home, check out the area, eat and chill. We had some fun group meals in town, and enjoyed our night, a couple of fans coming together. Only wish we had more time ... worth spending a bit more on this place, if you can, given how comfortable it is, and how much a larger group can enjoy both the home itself, and checking out all there is to do in the surrounding area. A great splurge for us and totally added to how much we enjoyed our time together.

We will definitely be looking to book Shawn’s place again! It was everything we needed for a nice weekend away in Tawas!

Michelle’s Haven was the ideal Port Austin getaway for my husband and me. Just steps from the beach and a quick walk into town, the location couldn’t be better. Our small dogs loved the private patio, and the quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful stay. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Our host Shelby was responsive, kind, and helpful. A special bonus was listening to vinyl records while getting ready for our family event — such a charming touch!

The Silo was very peaceful and relaxing. It is the perfect place if you love rustic camping and just want to get away from everything. I cant wait to book the silo again.
