We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our toddler especially loved exploring outside and had a great time running around the old Kirk next door. A lovely, peaceful spot—we’d definitely stay again!

What a beautiful place to stay for a family visit to Edinburgh. This 5 bed house sits right next to a loch but is also only 10 minutes from 2 supermarkets and numerous take aways and restaurants. A 30 minute drive into Edinburgh was manageable and straightforward also. The owners, Theresa and David live next door and were friendly and helpful. I could not fault this stay at all, it was just what we wanted. Thank you so much, Theresa and David.

A brilliant home to spend time in. Very spacious, comfortable and homely living space with a strong connection to the outdoors. Kitchen, bathrooms, living room and bedrooms had all the essential amenities, appliances, furniture and equipment to have an enjoyable stay. Some lovely extras (butter, bread, homemade marmalade, tray bakes) also provided. Seb is a great host: good communicator, friendly, and accommodating. Nice area. Close to the vibrancy of Edinburgh, but also tucked away in among quiet/peaceful countryside and quaint villages

Wonderful two-night stay with very welcoming and very friendly hosts. As if we've known each other forever. Discreet. Always very attentive to us. The layout of the house leaves us each our privacy. The allocated lunch space is very well organized, well stocked and with all the essentials available. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. We slept like babies. The small village of Kinross allowed us to easily explore the surroundings. We recommend this listing two hundred percent.

We had a wonderful stay at Teasses's Lodge celebrating the New Year and my husbands birthday. The house is set in such beautiful grounds. We arrived early as there was snow forcast , we were welcomed by a lovely log fire in the hallway. I will look forward to my next stay.

A perfect retreat, private, but responsive when needed, felt very at home and the cottage is even better than the photos, very tastefully put together….. loads of piping hot water

A brilliant location tucked away in amongst the hills of Innerleithen. Perfect if you’re looking to disconnect from the digital world and ask your devices, and perfect proximity to some of the best mountain biking facilities in the UK. Make sure you pack some Smidge as those Scottish midges are relentless!

2nd time staying in the flat. Very nice place, excellent location and super friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended. Good location to commute in to Edinburgh or further up north if you have a car. Easy walking distance from pubs and restaurants as well as the high street.

What a wonderful find! Our stay couldn’t have been more straightforward and comfortable and being on the estate was idyllic. Do explore the grounds or you’ll miss out - I think our young girls discovered their enchanted woods! Thank you, Gwen.

The house was extremely clean and well-kept with all basic amenities provided. We did not have to worry about anything since our host Xiaoling made sure that everything was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful yet affordable place in the heart of Edinburgh.

We had a fantastic stay at Kathy's place in Edinburgh. The location has good connectivity to the city center and public transport just steps away. Supermarkets and shops are conveniently nearby, making it easy to grab essentials. The apartment was clean and equipped with all the amenities as described. Kathy is an great host—responsive, and always quick to communicate, ensuring a seamless experience. I would highly recommend Kathy's place to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

The apartment is exactly how it is listed, Cataldo is an excellent host, very responsive (even at odd hours) and friendly. The instructions to find the lockbox and apartment were clear and super helpful. The lake next to the apartment gave us a nice serene view during our morning walks. 20mins away from the city centre, plenty of buses running!! Certainly recommend this place.

Very comfortable apartment, nicely arranged and ideally located for exploring the city on foot. Everything is thought out to make you feel good. Salma is a lovely host: available, responsive and always warm in her responses. Big thanks for the perfect stay!

This is our second short break to the cottage. The location is perfect, with views to the lake and wildlife from the window. The cottage is very comfortable and has a great shower in the bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and there was a welcome pack including milk, bread, butter, jams and tea and coffee sachets. The farm shop and cafe, which serves excellent breakfasts is a few yards away. There are lovely walks around the lake. An ideal location for a relaxed get-away.

We had a perfect stay at Findara, it was peaceful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids loved it and didn’t want to come home. We loved the open plan kitchen, living area where we could all be together but doing different things. The kids loved playing in the garden. It had everything we needed for our family of 6. Including extra bits all ready for our baby. We cant wait to go back!

Myself and 2 friends just had a brilliant weekend at Dawn and Darren’s cottage. They were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The cottage was perfect for what we needed, the decor was lovely and we’ll definitely be back for another stay. Hopefully later this year! Thank you Dawn and Darren.

What a beautiful spot! Very quiet. We all slept very well! Wish we could have stayed longer to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. It is a little remote so if you don’t have a car (which we didn’t) may end up being a little expensive going in and out of Edinburgh, but we always got an Uber when we wanted one. Perfect for walkers and cyclists. Wish we had time to explore the area more. We may be back! Thanks, Kerry!

Really enjoyed our stay in Pittenweem. Cathy’s cottage was compact, but had everything we needed to have a great weekend away. Beautifully decorated, well located to the harbour and costal path, and very much a home away from home. Would happily return.

This is without a doubt the most beautiful air BnB we have ever stayed in. It was utterly stunning. Incredibly beautiful interiors, super comfortable bed, heavenly hot tub and external space. We had the most magical weekend there relaxing in such peaceful and private surroundings. Don’t even give it a second thought. Just book.

We stayed 5 nights the end of May when all the flowering shrubs were in bloom. Its was truly a beautiful scene. We liked the quiet nature for walks on the property. We did some cycling trips from there also using the local train and cycle shop rental. The kitchen was great though we didn’t cook much. The local golf course had great food(vegan too) so we ate there several times. Everyone was so friendly in West Calder. We enjoyed a cosey fire one night. Nicola was very friendly, quick to respond for small stuff she rectified. I would love to return.

Had a lovely stay at this cottage . Near to Edinburgh as my son was doing the marathon but in a lovely location . Kylie was response to our messages and a lovely homemade loaf gave that extra touch for our arrival . Would definitely recommend and stay again .
