Vacation rentals with breakfast in East Lothian

Ruth house is great. Lovely garden and spacious rooms. We spent a week there, we are a couple with a 3yo girl and we recommend this house for families. It is clean with many useful things in the house because it is a "real home". Quite a few of buses around just walking 5 minutes. Thanks!

We had the most wonderful stay at Beeswing, the place is truly a home from home, absolutely every little detail has been thought about. It was our very first trip away with our newborn son so that we could attend a wedding nearby and I was very anxious but my nerves completely disappeared on arrival. Vicki had set and made up a travel cot ready for us and thoughtfully left us biscuits and tea to settle in. The place was immaculate and the beds so comfortable all of us slept brilliantly. The location was so convenient right on the edge of the high street so we could go out for breakfasts and dinners and also enjoy a couple of countryside walks. We all said we wished we had stayed another night.

Loved it here, gardens were in full bloom and glorious to spend time wandering around. I found the home very comfortable, and we were very well catered for. Breakfast was fab and the facilities provided all we could have needed.

Crookston House is by far the best place we have stayed in the UK. Georgina and Malcolm were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The house and grounds were stunning. We felt we were being invited in, not only into someone's home but, to share and experience a piece of history. The whole place is beautiful, fascinating and so relaxing. We had the Yew Tree bedroom which was fantastic. We also had access to the downstairs rooms and after a day of hiking and sightseeing was a lovely way to relax with a glass of wine surrounded by family portraits and so much history.

Great location, clean and good information was provided by our hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

This, by far, is the best stay I have visited. Marie is the perfect host, communicated in an exceptional manner, and provided the loveliest place to centre our stay in Edinburgh. From check in to check out, I felt welcome, comfortable, and well situated. Buses were frequent to go anywhere we needed and the accommodation was a welcome resting place after a long day of exploring. I have stayed many places but Marie's provided both the necessities and little extras that made this a fondly remembered experience rather than just a place to lay my head. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit and will be recommending it to family and friends who wish to visit in the future.

Casa molto pulita, spaziosa e accogliente. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, molto gradito il cibo trovato in casa e la gentilezza e disponibilità dell'host. Posizione un po' lontana dal centro ma con Uber rimane comunque una soluzione comoda. In generale consigliato!

This place was perfect for the six of us- and it even had a washer (one that could wash and dry!). We loved the artwork inside, too. The location was great, comfortable, and Trish helped with recommendations for food and travel. Street noise was no bother, though one must stick to the sidewalk when walking about.

This flat was amazing for our stay in Edinburgh. Beautiful views from every window, comfortable beds - it felt like a home away from home! Emily met us and walked us through everything. We could walk to everything in Edinburgh and even saw a filming of a new movie outside our window one evening. 10 out of 10 experience!

Clean and cozy place, she left some eggs, milk and cookies that were really convenient. Comfortable bed!

We absolutely loved our stay for the marathon! We found the flat to be very spacious for 4 of us and David clearly went above and beyond to think of any little extra you might need. The location is great and very central while feeling quieter and away from the hustle and bustle. We couldn’t get over the view of the castle! Would definitely reccomend

Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic location with great views, lovely hosts and clean & tidy apartment. Easy access to Edinburgh and the airport, when I arrived I got a Taxi from the airport, if I’d have known how simple the tram/bus journey would have been I’d have done that, I did for my return journey. Local restaurants are lovely and welcoming (Saphire & Queens Spice), good pint in the Thirty Knots too! I arrived late in the day, to be welcome with bread and milk amongst other things was just wonderful, simple touch which went a long way! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone looking Thank you to the host(s)

We had a great stay at James’s apartment. It’s away from the centre so quiet but only a 15 minute walk in to everything and well connected for transport. The property itself, is very stylishly decorated and comfortable. James couldn’t have been a more friendly, responsive and helpful host. We had no problems at all but when we messaged for advice on getting around etc, he came back really quickly, which we appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt als sehr angenehm empfunden. Die Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb gelegen aber durch einige Buslinien sehr gut mit dem Zentrum verbunden. Der Platz ist wirklich ideal genutzt und zu zweit fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Auch steht Infomaterial zur Verfügung.

The Apartment was great, we found it easily with the clear instructions provided. The location was perfect, really close to all the attractions, good restaurants and shops. The apartment was lovely, really clean and comfortable, we would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a few days in the flat, and we had an overall good experience :) The flat is well connected to the center by public transport, and there are also nice bakeries, restaurants, and pubs around the area. Stephen was very helpful and responsive, so we didn't have any issues at all. The flat is very well equipped and beautiful. The room is a bit bright, so you can expect some light in the morning. Nevertheless, we slept very good.

A lovely, comfortable stay with beautiful surroundings. The property had everything we needed (and more). Location was stunning and we took a walk around the gorgeous estate, which was so peaceful. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Nuestra estancia en lo de Judy y Charles fue fantástica. Un barrio hermoso, con buen acceso al centro de la ciudad, a unos 20 minutos a pie o bus con parada a media cuadra de la casa de Judy. La habitación es muy confortable, con todo lo necesario y una pulcritud total. La cama y las almohadas geniales, se duerme realmente bien. En cuanto a Judy, su hospitalidad y excelente predisposición para cualquier cosa que uno necesite merece realmente ser destacada. Super recomendable. Volvería 1000 veces ! Gracias Judy !

קטרינה היא אישה מקסימה, מארחת נפלאה, דואגת לכל מחסור, נעימה, מאד איכפתית וידידותית. הנכס היה מאד נקי, נוח, נעים ועונה לנו על הצרכים שלנו. כל שאלה אשר שאלנו , נענו בתשובה. קטרינה סיפקה לנו ארוחת בוקר, מצרכים, כל יום מחדש, למרות שילמנו רק על שהייה בחדר. המצעים היו נעימים, מגבות נקיות, חדר רחצה מצוחצח וחדר נקי. הנכס קרוב מאד מאד לתחנת אוטובוס, הנסיעה מהירה לעיר, הזמינות של האוטובוסים מאד טובה. מאד מאד ממליצה על השהות בביתה של קטרינה לכל מי שמעוניין לבוא ולבקר באדינברו. קטרינה אישה מקסימה מקסימה!!!!!!

Wow! What a fabulous place to stay! Daniela was an excellent, welcoming host. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The property was close proximity to Edinburgh Airport and located in beautiful surroundings on the golf course. It was easy to get to Edinburgh and I enjoyed staying outside of the city. I highly recommend and will stay again, for sure!

기차와 버스, 그리고 도보로 영국여행을 하다가 만난 최고의 3박4일이었다. 정갈하고 군더더기 없는 완벽한 숙박시설, 맛있는 빵과 신선한 과일 우유 쥬스로 구성된 아침식사, 잔디 정원에서 새소리를 들으며 즐길 수 있던 저녁식사, 마치 가족처럼 정성스럽게 맛있는 요리까지 챙겨준 호스트 Jo와 그의 남편 스티븐, 기차역에 내릴 때부터 기차를 타러갈 때까지 차로 픽업해준 헌신적 서비스, 등등. 영어를 못하는 이국인에게도 자동번역기 등으로 필요한 정보를 빠짐없이 전달해춰 불편함이 전혀 없이 지낼 수 있었다. 특히 목표했던 에든버러 외에 숙소가 위치한 덤펌린을 광광할 수 있었던 것도 잊을 수 없다. 고풍스럽게 남아있는 수도원과 궁전, 카네기 박물관과 그가 기증한 도서관과 갤러리와 공원, 그리고 지방 소도시가 가지고 있는 묘한 매력에 흠뻑 빠질 수 있었다. 아침에 기차를 타고 서쪽의 포트월미엄 숙소에 누워서 후기를 쓰며 어제까지의 그 숙소를 추억하고 있다. 굿바이, Jo!

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!

What a great host Carol was. We had bikes and she let us keep them in the utility. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing and we even got a bag of food to take with us which really helped keep our energy up on route. The bed was sooo comfy and cosy.

We can’t be more happy with choosing Georgina’s Airbnb! This place is a great example of real English/Scottish country side where you can enjoy calmness, nature and aesthetics. We had amazing evening in the blooming garden, enjoyed interior as well as it was full of beautiful details, especially I liked paintings and books. The bedding and especially pillows were outstanding (actually the best I’ve ever slept before). The food on breakfast was very good quality and tasty, served with such love! Would love to come back here once more one day! Strongly recommended!
