House vacation rentals in East Leake

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Wonderful location, the kids loved having a pool and playground (or 2 if you count the pub playground) at their doorstep. The views were lovely too. Also a testament to the layout was how easily pur kids ended up making friends with other kids there over such a short period. The only 2 things I would change - beds were too hard for me (but that is personal preference) and the showers weren't the best - though showers in the pool area were perfect. Clearly not something that would change my 5 star rating. A couple of other points - being so close to Carsington Water (1 minute drive) was superb. Ashbourne and Matlock also close and lovely locations - very much enjoyed our little excursions there and to The Heights of Abraham. Thanks, a lovely stay.

Absolutely perfect from booking to checking out. Richard is an incredible host with everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place. Our 6 and 4 year old loved swimming multiple times, reading the kids library of books and playing with the many toys at the house. You can’t get any better than these hosts and this house.

It was lovely inside and out and spotless there was 11 of us staying aged from 45-11 and not one of us had any faults they all thought it was great the only thing that the teenagers complained about was the pool closed at 6:30 and we had only gotten back from Alton towers at 6pm so maybe keeping it open a little bit later would benefit the younger crowd.

Perfect location for our little family. I wish we booked a larger space because there were more options if we didn’t book so last minute. Beautiful location and grounds. Nice facility’s for our toddler and run around and play…and an excuse for me to do the same!

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, very clean and tidy. My children loved the pool and games room. Easy to get to all the main attractions will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great stay at knockerdown. We loved the pool and the play park was perfect for the children to play while I got dinner done. Overall it was a lovely environment and so close to local amenities. I am looking forward to staying again soon.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and very accommodating! The accommodations are even better in person, it is very cosy and me and friends had the loveliest time for my birthday relaxing weekend! All the amenities were provided, definitely worth the money and definitely enough space for everyone! Thank you so much, would recommend it. Only downside is that there is only two parking spaces available (which is stated) but we managed to find parking elsewhere for our 3rd car.

I stayed with my family at the cottages on a trip to Alton Towers. I would recommend it to anyone very spacious, clean and great communication with the staff. Lots on site to keep the kids entertained. Would definitely stay again

Very comfortable house kept to high standard of decor and cleanliness. Host has thought about all the guests needs meaning we felt right at home straight away. Parking was right outside the front door which was great. Would love to stay again if we are in the area again.

Great flat in such a peaceful part of the city yet so close to the centre. A real oasis. A bonus to have a beautiful patio to have breakfast on each morning. Communication was easy and there was a good info manual in the flat. We had a great weekend, thanks Sarah!

As soon as we saw the Garden House we relaxed straight away, it is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery and birds. Isabel’s handbook had lots of information and great instructions to walk around the estate and meet the sheep. The welcome pack was superb! Thankyou! We slept so well with the bird song waking us. We did venture out but it was great to get back to the comfort of the Garden house. I met Isabel who is a wonderful lady. We do hope to be back again Mary and David

We had a great 7-night stay, the house was spotless, fresh, and just like the listing. There's a lovely little park right outside, and a supermarket and 24-hour fast food just a short walk away. Suport convenient and quiet, we felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, relaxing atmosphere, close to the local grocery store. Would highly recommend, and stay here again!

Adie made us feel very welcome, and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us bread, milk,cereals,teabags,coffee and even a bottle of wine, etc. We were just a little surprised that we had to be out by 10am, we could have done with a little longer. It was great that the dogs came and visited as we were missing ours. Thank you Adie for a wonderful place to lay our heads and get ready for our granddaughters wedding.

The house is a delight, and we were not disappointed with our stay. Mountsorrel has loads of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Only a 10 minute walk from house with Quorn just a mile up the road. A Waitrose is a 5 minutes walk. We would definitely stay again and many thanks to Jon and the cleaning team for providing a lovely home from home experience.

Beautiful modern clean double bedrooms, some with dressing area and en-suite bathrooms. Nice large kitchen/diner with everything you need for guest's getogether and private garden area to relax.

Sunshine Cottage is a beautiful home. It was welcoming, cosy & exceptionally clean. Lovely views from the garden. We managed to park along the road near the Coop & it’s a short but fairly steep climb to the cottage. We had a brilliant few days with plenty of walking which is just what we were looking for. Thank you Naomi for being a fantastic host x

Annex was great - everything we needed ... even milk in the fridge ! Very spacious downstairs. Edward really helpful & quick to respond. Great location if visiting Holme Pierre Point Watersports Centre. Would stay again !

Brilliant place with a large communal area. Kam was really clear with instructions and we had a great time.

It was a very clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed. The only issue was the hot water in shower, it kept going off and caused a difficult experience in the shower. Apart from this, everything was perfect!

Great stay. The noise detectors are a bit distracting and off putting of a relaxing vibe but can understand why it’s needed. We are not very adverse to hot tubs and found the instructions lacking a little and couldn’t get it working as well as we like but feel like that’s us. Otherwise great location and host is very response, would stay again.
