Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We stayed with Mary during one of our annual girls’ trips. Mary is an amazing host! Her home is equipped with anything you may need throughout your stay. This is the perfect place to stay to be close to activities while having peace, quiet, and privacy. I would recommend staying with her if you have planned travels to the TC area!

We came up for my bachelorette weekend, actually found this place as a last minute deal when our first place fell through. The house was beautiful, and everyone had plenty of room. We were able to check in early and the host was very responsive and kind. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

What a beautiful cabin! Sometimes the pictures look nice and you get there and it is not like that, NOT HERE! So wonderful and very clean! I give this a 20 out of ten. The host is very nice and Accommodating. I would definitely stay here again, to be honest I didn’t want to leave because it was so peaceful and comfortable there.

Craig's home I believe is closer to Solon, but in that general area. A great home for 2-4 people. Country setting is very peaceful. The tip to pick up any groceries before heading to the home is a great tip as it is 7-10 minutes from a local market. We enjoyed our relaxing time in the home for couple of days. We loved the use of the kitchen, and use of the washer & dryer.

We appreciated the local chips and beer and special dog cookie. This is a great spot and we are thankful it is dog friendly.

We held a small family reunion at Michael’s place - it fit our needs fine, the place was very clean and Michael was very responsive. The home is tightly located between a small business strip and apartments/condos along a moderately busy road however, we found it to be mostly quiet.

The house was spacious inside and outside (fenced backyard and large deck) and worked well for our needs. Dog amenities like water bowls and towels definitely appreciated! Hosts are kind and responsive, an issue came up with coffeemaker and they fixed it right away. The walk out basement area is cute and also has some really cool features like infrared sauna!! Would stay again if back in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

This was a very nice place to stay! The area was quiet and the room was very clean and comfortable. if we are ever in the area again we will definitely be booking here !

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

My family & I loved it . Everyone was content just staying at the cottage . Lol but we did check out A couple of the recommendations & they were very nice !! Great stay will definitely book again !!

A hidden gem—nestled in the woods, yet close to everything. The charming cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and its back wall of windows opened to an enchanted view. The serene river out back—with a dock, kayaks, and fire ring—made it feel like a private retreat. Our visit was part of a brief family reunion getaway with our two sons and daughter-in-law, and Emily was wonderfully responsive, warm, and accommodating. Though brief, our stay was incredibly relaxing—kayaking, sitting by the fire with s'mores (provided!), enjoying the outdoor shower, and sipping morning coffee on the deck while soaking in the calm. We truly didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking comfort and nature in one perfect spot.

We loved this place! Jake was very accommodating and friendly. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Plus we got to have our 2 dogs! The location was beautiful and outside of town but close enough! We will be back! Thanks Jake for everything! Sincerely Vicki and Ray Johnson

Wonderful experience. Loved the kayaks and ping pong. Rooms are situated in a way you can have your own privacy while still having a blast sharing the house.

Josh’s place was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and conveniently located! We loved our stay here.

We had a terrific stay. This was a fantastic value for a lakeside retreat! The location is close enough to Traverse City but a wooded wonderland. We kayaked on the lake which is so much larger than it looks from the estuary the property is on. We saw deer & various birds. Relaxing location, coffee on the dock or deck in the morning. Smores by the fire at night. Very nice!

Creekside retreat was perfect for our family! Very clean, comfy beds, everything we needed. We were in town for a softball tournament in Traverse City. It was about a 12 minute drive to the fields and about 15 minutes to downtown Traverse city. Highly recommend!

Tom and Kent were fantastic hosts and the property and home itself were absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and would certainly recommend CC49 to anyone looking to stay in the area. The home was clean and comfortable, with amazing amenities. We had so much fun at the property that we hardly felt any need to go into town! Tom and Kent were more than accommodating when I asked about early check-in and Kent even brought extra kayaks without me having to ask. Overall outstanding!

We loved our short stay here so much that we are already planning on returning! It was very homey and we were greeted by Nova. Our two doodles had a blast being free to roam and run around. The place was very charming and we just loved all the amenities that came with. To top it all, we were surprised with homemade cinnamon rolls :)
