Great location, a walk to some of the best food healthy (juiceland), coffee (Bennu), Award winning food truck/take out (ADP austin daily press) and a great neighborhood bar (The Wheel). Private entrance via alley located north of 14th St. between Chicon and Poquito Streets. Private off street parking spot for one car/truck. I am available 24/7 via text or cell phone and want you to contact me if anything isn't working, have a special request or question. My goal is to make your stay a great one and your travel simple. Set in a great location in East Austin, this guesthouse is surrounded by nice neighbors and new homes. It's a short walk to some of the city's best healthy food, coffee, award-winning food trucks, and bars. There is parking for one car right next to the house. Some guests have found it convenient to have a car to get to Zilker Park or the grocery store. This location is a bit too far to walk to 6th St. but it can be done in 45 min. It is a short 10 min ride share, 20 min bus (2 stops within blocks of house take you downtown) or 20 min bike ride to 6th St. downtown area. Located 1 mile east of UT football, 1/2 mile to UT baseball stadium, 3/4 mile to UT aquatic center, easy (no hills!) walk to UT. The guest house is located behind the main house, which is also a full time, licensed, Airbnb rental home. I let my guests know know if there are renters in the main house, so all know who else may be on the property during your stay. There are private entrances for each property and each home is a free-standing home.

The apartment is part of the eclectic East Austin scene in the popular Holly Street neighborhood. It's minutes from downtown clubs and restaurants, and a short walk to the Austin Hike and Bike trail system that runs through the center of the city. Plenty of room for parking, but close to all bus stops, bike rentals and ride sharing. We have created a space that is very comfortable and accommodating. South Congress Apartment

Our apartment is perfect for the budget traveler. It's very clean and with about 500 square feet it is spacious enough for 2 guests, although there is a fold out couch if you need it. Be sure to use the pillow top and comforter located on top of the bookshelf next to the couch. My wife and I lived here before buying the main house on the property. It was a great place to live and gave us many happy years. I'm sure you will love it too! Located near Congress and Riverside, just a few blocks away from longtime Austin establishments such as Guero's Taco Bar, The Continental Club, Allen's Boots, and many other amazing restaurants, shops and music venues. The South Congress bridge, where the bats emerge at sunset every evening from March to October, is just a few more blocks away and leads directly into the downtown area only a mile from our apartment, all within walking distance. You can pick up the hike and bike trail at the bridge as well, and it runs for many miles around Lady Bird Lake. Public bike rentals are within a five minute walk on Congress Avenue. There is plenty of parking on the street in front of our house.

Put on a great record and enjoy the natural light at a bright, stylish guesthouse with a homey feel. The studio is brand new construction that has been stylishly renovated. It has a private alley entrance, and includes a kitchenette, full bathroom and walk-in closet. Sleeping options include a king size bed, and a day bed that converts into two twin size beds. Fast wifi and TV provided. We are centrally located, near public bus lines. Plenty of unrestricted street parking available.

There are like, tons of windows in there. Austin hotspots and events are a short ride share away from our central location. But with a well-appointed kitchen, hot restaurants, bars, and coffee shops just a short stroll away, and super comfy digs you may find you don't want to wander very far.

The Treehouse Studio is the second (top) floor of a freestanding building behind our house in French Place, providing plenty of privacy. Within a 15-20 minute walk to the Moody Center, the Bass Concert Hall, the UT sports complex and the University of Texas campus, you can avoid (the sometimes horrendous) event traffic and parking fees. The neighborhood also has many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and even a fringy theater company, all within a few minutes walk.
