Had a really nice and peaceful stay! Exactly as described online. Clean, tidy, well equipped and CAKE! Thank you. Out ‘in the sticks’ somewhat, not that I didn’t realise beforehand mind, definitely not an issue for me; to the contrary, a definite plus. I would gladly stay again and would recommend to others. A couple of points to add - I’m reasonably sure that the price I paid was less than the usual for this property, I think I was probably looking/searching at the right time and fell lucky as this is a popular property which is usually booked. Just for clarity, Sybil, the co-host was the person I communicated with, prior to and during my stay. The info and instructions provided were spot on. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you
The exterior of the bungalow features a single-story design with large windows that allow natural light to fill the interior. The surrounding area is landscaped with greenery, providing a peaceful setting. A gravel pathway leads to the entrance, enhancing accessibility.

The airbnb was spotless and as advertised! Plenty of towels for guests and a tonne of space in the living area, bedrooms and kitchen. Easily fit 4 cars on the car. The host Jaz was really friendly and very responsive and made sure we were welcome and gave very clear and easy instructions to follow.

Penny End, Mosser - retreat in the Western Lakes

Svea is really responsive and welcomed us on our arrival. The property is really comfortable and had a few items such as coffee, tea and sugar which is not always available at properties. The beds were really comfortable and it is definitely worth a longer visit. It is located about 15mins drive from a Sainsbury's which in the lake district is extremely close and saved a trip to Keswick.

Wonderful cottage to get away from it all, great location just a short drive from Bassenthwaite and Crummock Water, Keswick and Cockermouth. The cottage was clean, well equipped and cosy. We would love to return in the future.

Isabel's Cottage in quiet village near Cockermouth

We had a wonderful stay at Isabel's Cottage. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos and described on Airbnb. Lisa was an incredible, friendly, responsive host, going above and beyond with extra special touches. We had brought everything with us for our furry friend but really didnt need too. Lisa provided everything for all the family members including the fur kind. We slept so deeply in the extremely comfortable beds especially with the surroundings being so peaceful. We will definitely be recommending Isabel's Cottage to anyone, and hope to return when next visiting the area. Thank you Lisa

sinead and Q made us feel very welcome. The house was spotlessly clean, everything was provided that we would need for our stay. I would definitely recommend this house, very peaceful with a beautiful garden and a beck running through it.

Little Meadow

What an amazing place! Susan’s home was lovely and located on a beautiful dairy farm. We were immediately welcome by her cats Lucky and Clover (who we adopted for our stay). Susan was always available to answer our questions and took us on a tour of the farm to meet the cows. The house was about 7 minutes from a great village called cockermouth which had pubs, restaurants and many bakeries. A little further and you are in keswick which is one of the bigger towns. We took a boat from there across derwentwater to the famous Catbells and also took a rowboat out on the lake. We also went for a beautiful walk around buttermere lake and a hike into the borrowdale valley. And we even popped over the border into Scotland. It was an amazing trip and a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Susan!!
