Cottage vacation rentals in Durangaldea

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. All aspects of the stay were perfect. We were 5 young couples spending the weekend. Elena took care to make clear everything we could do and how we could take advantage of the time. She was also attentive in case we had any improvises. The house is perfect if you are looking to feel at home. Renovated and at the same time with original details of the house. A 10/10.

One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Great place and very accommodating

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

We are very happy to have spent these days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for sharing with these two dogs and these 4 ducks. 😍

There were 6 of us and the house was wonderful, the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at so far and more for the price. Spacious, modern, cozy house with impeccable decoration. Very well equipped with more than necessary to be very comfortable. The patio area is very good and we even had a barbecue. I would definitely stay here again. Finally Jose was very kind, always attentive and giving recommendations, thank you very much, we had an incredible time despite the short time

We have been staying in the La Niña house 6 people and it was an unbeatable stay. The house is in a rural environment in the middle of nature where you can enjoy very nice views and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city but in turn it is also close to the most touristic places in the area. The house is very cozy and offers all the necessary services and is as seen in the photos and description. Álvaro as host has taken care at all times that our stay was the best and to resolve all our doubts before and during the stay in the house. I recommend it 100%.

Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well furnished, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

The stay at Laura's house was great, it has magnificent views of the Sierra de Codés and Mount Yoar. The porch and garden are phenomenal, the two dogs we brought enjoyed it a lot. Both Laura by phone and her father Fausti in town were attentive at all times. And a great touch to find the fireplace lit on arrival, on a cold day. Highly recommended

An excellent place to stay, the house is large, beautiful and very well equipped. We liked everything about the place, especially the fireplace, which they left us with wood ready. The setting is very nice and there are quite a few things to see nearby. Farid was very kind in welcoming us and made sure everything was perfect. It's a place to go back to and enjoy a few quiet days.

The place is beautiful and you have a lot of privacy as it is set back from the main home. It has everything you need to have a wonderful day. Thank you

A lovely space to relax. Quiet village but close enough to amenities. Iñaki was extremely helpful throughout and check in was easy.

Wow, what a uniquely beautiful and interesting home. More like a mountain mansion from a movie set, with a lovely garden and pool. The living and dining rooms were spacious and decorated with great character. The original tree-trunk sized crossbeams and antique doors and windows make you feel like you've traveled back in time. It's so peaceful on the mountaintop with a great view. Luis and his sister Carlota are warm and responsive hosts, who only asked us to love their house as much as they do.

A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful area. Very much enjoyed the tranquility, the cottage and the area. Upon arrival, the fireplace was already on and there was a delicious homemade cake ready and fresh eggs. Communicated well with the host using Google Translate.

If you love peace, quiet and nature then this is the place for you. It exceeded all our expectations and we couldn’t have asked for more! Garbiñe and her family are so friendly and although no English spoken we managed to communicate perfectly with Google Translate - we laughed at our mistakes. On the day we arrived they were there to meet us with a wonderful cake made by Garbiñe’s Mum and of course, there is Eri and Puppi, the extremely friendly dogs - just lovely! The immaculate house is full of wonderful and personal touches and the garden is just beautiful and wonderfully maintained. You can see that a lot of time love and dedication is spent here! We took a lovely walk into the woods, accompanied by Eri who couldn’t wait to swim in the river. It is with sad hearts that we had to leave and were are already planning our return next year. A home that feels like home. Juan Manuel was very kind and attentive, and helped us with everything we needed. Eskuernaga is a very beautiful village that can be easily toured in a short time. There was a bottle of wine from Juan Manuel's winery to welcome us, thank you very much 😊
