Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

this was my first time using air b&b and I was really impressed. I stayed with my 5 year old and my parents. We had one day in skegness which is 50 mins away and then the second day in Lincoln which is 15 mins away. The house was super clean and modern with lovely decor and had everything you need. My little boy especially loved the board games that suzi kept in the cupboard which I thought was a nice touch. suzi also popped some milk in the fridge for us for when we checked in so we could have a brew. messages were responded to very quickly. would definitely stay again. thanks Lauren xx

Great place for the family to stop despite being there under difficult circumstances with our Mum being in Lincoln Hospital. It made our situation with being on call for hospital more bearable and enabled family members to be together, lovely peaceful location and a homely feel.

Lovely stay at David’s. It was clean and tidy, all that you could possibly need to be self contained. I will definitely use again when visiting friends in Lincoln.

We had a great stay in the cottage, 2 adults and 1 giant dog, we always check with the host first if they have any size restrictions on dogs and luckily Denise confirmed any size dog can stay! Very quiet location, only downside is that the cottage doesn’t have its own garden, we took our dog across onto the verge opposite for a leg stretch, it wasn’t a problem for us as we were only using it for a sleeping base but would have missed a garden if we were spending more time in the cottage. Very clean and tidy place with everything you could need, would definitely return if we are back in the area. We bought some lovely homemade Jam from Denise for our breakfast!
