“The apartment is very spacious, even more than it may seem in the photos but even though it is very large, it is absolutely cozy. What surprised us the most is that there are as many utensils in the two kitchens as you can imagine, more than most people have in our own homes. the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are spectacular and the kitchens are huge and everything is beautifully maintained. They take care of many details, there were lots of games and toys for children, in our case we went with a 2 year old girl and it is appreciated. It also has a large garage, we got a van to spare. It is located in a quiet urbanization in a town 15 minutes from Padua, but in just 5 minutes you are on the highway that takes you to Padua, Bologna (1 hour), Venice (35 minutes) and Verona (1 hour) . Great to know the Veneto + Bologna. We would definitely repeat.”

“It is a special thing when you arrive as a guest, but leave as a friend. And, thanks to Nicola our stay at the Gatto Nero Guesthouse was absolutely unforgettable! Not only is the area surrounding the guesthouse absolutely peaceful and quiet, but if you have a vehicle (or possibly the train) this is an ideal location to explore Modena, Maranello, Bologna, Chioggia, Padova and (of course) Venice! We stayed for one month over the Christmas and New Year holidays which was a great time of year for an authentic Italian experience. All the Christmas Markets were in full-swing, and there were no shortage of events! The Guesthouse is a very good space for a couple (+ two dogs) and the yard and large windows off the master bedroom were lovely. The effort Nicola and his wife put into the guesthouse shows right down to the smallest of details and they are always available if needed. Kitchen is fully stocked, and full of everything one might need for a full breakfast - eggs, milk, coffee, homemade cookies & cakes, juice, breads, fresh fruit, cheese, meats etc. And a wonderful selection of carefully selected wines for purchase are also available for those night you might run out, or would like to sample more of what the region has to offer ;-) If not for Nicola, our Christmas certainly would not have been as bright. This guesthouse is a travelers dream!”

“What a great SUPER hosts Roberto & Stefania are! We booked their place on short notice because the previous apartment in Venice was terrible, we had to look for a place out of Venice and Padua is just 30 minutes away. First off, Padua is a cute, cozy, quiet, and spacious town. Roberto & Stefania greeted us when we arrived late afternoon and there's parking space for our car. They welcomed us with a bottle of Peach Bellini that is only found in Padua and it's very delicious! My family loved the place right away! It was very spacious, it's on the 1st floor, with 2.5 bathrooms, a gorgeous & complete kitchen & living room, TVs in all rooms, complete amenities, with heating and hot water, and an espresso machine! You won't have to worry where to find food because there is a great pizza shop next door (be aware they close from 5-7 pm, I think). A really wonderful experience in Padua, they also gave us a lot of info on where to find food, attractions, etc.! Thank you so much Roberto & Stefania, next time we will stay longer at your place!”
