Cosy Delightful Barn in South Downs, Hambledon

CapucineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Would recommend to anyone looking for piece and quiet. Surroundings are beautiful. Becky is an amazing host, it was easy to communicate with her and she was also very kind, letting our dog run in her field, treating her to a great bottle of sparkling wine and was also super flexible with check in and out which was very helpful for us given we were traveling with a small baby! The barn was also super clean and cosy. We loved our stay!

Great place to stay. Nice quiet location for shops and pubs etc in Bishops Waltham and only a short drive over to Winchester too. Really great space to chill for the weekend.

Our two-night stay, although short, was perfect and very enjoyable. Linda is the perfect host and provided everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Linda.

A Writer's Retreat. Beautiful Annex in Meon Valley

AdgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Writer’s Retreat is exactly that, a real countryside tranquil retreat. The Annex is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully furnished and cared for. Parking is on the premises and very safe. Rachel is very welcoming and the perfect host. And if you can tear yourself away from the delightful morning wildlife show (blue and great tits, a woodpecker and squirrels all feeding outside the big picture window), you are very central to a wide range of visitor attractions and walks. With three pubs in easy walking distance, and restaurants nearby dining out is doddle. Carol and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next summer.

Edge of South Downs Nat Park, private Annexe

This was our second stay here as we were so impressed the first time. Sarah is the perfect host, leaving us alone yet making sure we're OK too. She really has thought of everything and if there isn't something there that you require, I would imagine she would go out of her way to try and provide it for you. Lovely location if you like rural peace and quiet, which we do. We tried the local pub this time too and we weren't disappointed, lovely pub meals in a cosy, traditional setting. We could not recommend this lovely place enough!
The open-plan living area features exposed wooden beams and large windows that allow natural light to fill the space. A spacious sofa offers comfortable seating, while a modern kitchen with bar seating and sleek appliances can be seen in the background.

Forest Farm Barn Hampshire

HayleighRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An amazing find, we were so lucky to stay at Forest Farm Barn for a wedding in the area. Our friends and I really appreciated having such a great space to relax in, it's beautiful and full of character, plus the kitchen particularly was really well stocked! It is very open plan so I would recommend staying with people you're comfortable with but there are plenty of bathrooms and living spaces so that, if you need it, you can find a quiet place for yourself also!

Dog friendly, relaxing, luxurious quiet retreat.

JosRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely holiday home, owners were very accommodating and understanding. The shared garden is fantastic and the field attached, which is owned by them is perfect to walk dogs. Area is a beautiful and quiet part of the Hampshire country side with easy access from the main A- road. The pub is lovely and is only a very short walk down the road as well. Not a complaint, but advice, there are no shops nearby so ensure you go to a supermarket in one of the big towns before you go into the rural area to save second trip out.
