Vacation rentals with breakfast in Downtown, St. John's

I'm so happy about my stay with Mercy and James. They were warm and friendly, and very helpful. My room was large and right next to the bathroom which was so handy as a disabled person. I appreciate that there were little notes with things like the wifi login and password; those little things are so often details I forget to ask about so this was a huge plus in my books. Would happily stay with them again if they weren't moving off the island to be closer to their family.

My family and I had a great stay at Perry’s place! It’s clean, cozy and close to all amenities. It’s also in a quiet neighborhood!! We hope to get back again soon :)

Very good option while in St John's. This airbnb is located in a middle class neighbourhood, really close to downtown (10-minute walk to the closes attractions). The host does his 110% to make a pleasant stay. A good breakfast and a place to park are included.

Mercy and James were really friendly people and so understanding. Checking in to the place was easy, james was there to guide me to the room and show me all the amenities. I really loved their home as it was simple and felt cozy like at home. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean and they had provided all the things needed for the stay, even breakfast, coffee were all provided. Their kitchen too was really neat and spacious, they also had a backyard and overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a simple and cozy place to stay.

This is the ultimate place to stay in St John’s if you want to stay at a place with charm and a family vibe. It’s also super central, you can walk everywhere from there. Tamara is fabulous and her breakfast super fresh, yummy and healthy. I stayed with Tamara for 5 nights and felt as part of the family. Amazing, thank you Tamara 🧡

Had a terrific stay with Joy. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with a large shower and separate soaker tub. Joy was very flexible with me coming and going as fit my needs. The items left to prepare breakfast were a great bonus. I had a wonderful stay and certainly would not hesitate to book again when back in St. John’s. Her friendly dog Dagen was also a great addition to the stay, ready to greet me with a patient wagging tale whenever I saw him.

(1) Surroundings Perfectly located for travelers, not far from the airport. Nearby facilities are all a short walk away: Sobey's, Mary Brown's, RBC, Pipers, Dollarama, First Choice Hair, Lawtons, several restaurants, and Quidi Vidi Lake. Despite being next to downtown, it's quiet and peaceful. Few places in St. John's have such great walking access to amenities. (2) Host Wallace is an incredibly kind and considerate host. I was comfortable throughout my stay. He may look tough, but he's very easy-going person—just a friendly neighbor. He is always ready to help guests and is very hardworking. (3) House A beautiful, typical Canadian home with a lovely backyard, cozy living room, clean bathroom, and a washing machine. The room is clean and comfortable, with a desk, fridge, microwave, wardrobe, and storage. The bed was more comfortable than a luxury hotel in Rome. I'm sad to leave but happy to share this opportunity with you. Your best Airbnb experience—with Wallace. Cheers!

Bill was a very responsive host, and he has an extremely interesting, well capped and beautiful home. It was nice to speak with him about his interest in music, and for people who are interested in art and culture, he has a huge amount of inside, and a virtual museum of old vinyl recordings, antiquated, technology, and interesting sheet music. I enjoyed my time speaking with him, and the entire experience was very enjoyable.

This is a wonderful place to stay, comfortable, well located, clean, and the breakfasts are amazing. Please note that the AC is only in common areas (not often a big deal) and this room is on the street side so it can be noisy.

We stayed at the sister property, The Roses B&B for 2 nights. It was a fantastic location (easy walk to The Rooms and down to George St) and came with a wonderful view of the harbour in the breakfast room. Carol was very easy to communicate with. Mark cooked up our breakfast both days and was able to accommodate my Gluten allergy. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. We would highly recommend this place.

The hospitality was outstanding ....we were treated like royal family! I am a good cook myself, so I am quite particular about food, Cindy’s breakfast exceeded my expectations! She gave us so many menu options and went far out of her way to offer Newfoundland specialties! The suite was outstanding...everything we would hope for and much more. The linens were excellent (and I’m fussy about linen), so many extras were considered (including exceptional decor, abundant towels, and impeccable cleanliness). Cindy and John are lovely people, it was such a pleasure to meet them and to now have them as friends!
