Condo vacation rentals in Downtown, Sarasota

We have just spent a wonderful 10 days in Sarasota staying in Jennifer’s apartment at The Strand. The accommodation was perfect in every way; a real home from home with everything thoughtfully provided by our host - from toiletries and cleaning products to beachtowels and even a coolbox. The apartment was spotless and easily accessible and communication with our host was so simple. Jennifer always responded swiftly to any messages and nothing was ever too much trouble. We would not hesitate to return to this accommodation again and highly recommend both the apartment and our host, Jennifer, to anyone looking for high quality, comfortable surroundings for their holiday.

My mom and I got away for a long Mothers Day / birthday weekend at Sue's place. Exactly as pictured and advertised. We enjoyed the beach by day and St. Armonds Circle each night. walked home each night feeling safe! The bed and pillows were extra compfy! I would definitely return here and hope to again soon! Thanks Sue for the wonderful stay and quick communication when I missed some details needed. 🙃

This is a great location. Private. Felt very safe during our stay. 15-30 minutes drive from some amazing beaches. The host's communication was outstanding. She replies within minutes and even called me personally to discuss a dryer issue when a repair person was needed. We had a great stay and would definitely come back. Great place. Great location. And OUTSTANDING host!

All around a great place to make u feel like your home, clean, spacious, and a quiet neighborhood with a lot of beautiful dogs that some other owners have to also see while u are there. You’re next to everything that you would ever need. Thank you Edwin we know who to go to if we ever came back ❤️

Loved my stay here, will definitely return!! Check in and check on was very easy. Walking distance to 2 great restaurants and a clean not very busy pool! Right on a marina and the views were spectacular! Room was spotless upon arrival and the many amenities were such an added bonus!!

We have stayed at house of sun properties for the last 3 years and this was my favorite by far. Room was clean, well stocked, and nicely updated. Amy also eft great instructions and responded to all questions quickly and politely. Thanks for a great stay

Lucky and Jason were incredible hosts. They were very attentive, good communicators and flexible. Their apartment was beautiful. It was very clean, well laid out, and had everything you needed. The pool was amazing and the landscaping around the grounds gorgeous. The apartment was literally within walking distance of everything you needed as well as two blocks from Sarasota Memorial Hospital. I highly recommend this little gem❤️.

It was a nice clean place. I would definitely stay at Robert's place again. It right around the corner from St. Armands Circle and close to beach. They had everything you need for your stay houseware and beach stuff.

Fantastic location on quieter area of beach but still walkable to the Village restaurants. Comfortable bed, huge shower. Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful week in MIchele's unit. There were no surprises! The condo was immaculate and modern. Michele was extremely responsive with any questions we had. The check in instructions were excellent. Seeing a bottle of prosecco with two chilled glasses in the fridge was such a nice surprise! The location was outstanding, with Saint Armand's Circle and downtown Sarasota being just minutes away. We also loved the nearby restaurants that Michele recommended. Each room has a large screen tv with Roku loaded with a number of active streaming channels. The water view from the balcony was great, and parking couldn't have been easier in the reserved spot. We arrived without having had a chance to go shopping, and it was so nice that there were cold waters and sodas in the fridge, and plenty of coffee k-cups on the counter. We would definitely stay with Michele again. She was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay.

This place was fantastic with everything we needed. It was close to everything and a short drive to some of the other local activities. Short walk to multiple beach entrances and a cart, chairs, umbrella, etc. was all available to take to the beach. There’s a local shuttle that takes you all over the island for free and a market around the corner that’s fully stocked with everything you need to cook some meals there. We did the night time LED kayaking and then did the Mangrove Eco Tour with Kayaking SRQ, ask for Kaleb for the mangrove tour, the man knew everything about the area, its history, conservation, and gave some great restaurant and attraction recommendations in the area. Or… just hang out at the beach. We were there during tropical storm Debby and Kathryne communicated with us throughout. Absolute amazing stay… even with a tropical storm! We can’t wait to come back.

Gorgeous apartment that was incredibly clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was wonderful and the hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and responsive. Beautiful stay!

Unit is very close to the beach. Lots of beach gear including paddleboard, chairs, umbrella/canopy, beach towels, and cooler. Washer and dryer right in unit make laundry easy. Trolley stop is right across the street. Front bedroom can be a little noisy with the traffic. Overall, had a great stay!

I've stayed at many AirBnbs and this place was probably my favorite. The Apt was well decorated and my wife and I felt very comfortable in it. The amenities in the complex was great, especially the dog park. It was a very friendly community in a great location. This would be my first choice if/when I come back to Sarasota.

Jean & Mike's beach condo on Anna Maria Island was a wonderful get-away for us after a very long winter. We loved the beach decor and all the little things that made us feel welcome and comfortable. It had everything we needed for an awesome beach vacation - chairs, umbrella, towels and a cool beach cart to carry our stuff. The pristine beach was only about 300 steps away. The condo itself had everything we needed. The bed and couches were comfy; the master bath spacious; the kitchen well-equipped. We enjoyed eating on the screened porch that overlooked a small park and being able to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. We loved watching the sunset from "our" beach or at the AMI Beach Cafe down the beach while listening to live music. Jean was a great host. She responded quickly to our questions and had plenty of recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Jean & Mike's place is one of the best AirBnBs we've stayed at and will definitely consider it the next time we visit AMI.

Absolutely amazing apartment! it's in a fantastic location with lots of extras like beach towles and chairs, which we loved as our cases got lost. Very beautiful location with fabulous pools. The local beach is stunning! We will be back we loved it and Joyce was a perfect host.

We highly recommend staying at Bill’s! He was very accommodating and answered all our questions very quickly. The condo was very clean- the linens and towels smelled so fresh- and had everything you needed for the perfect beach day. The pool area was also beautiful. The location of the condo was perfect! The private beach area was a short walk across the street and way less crowded than the touristy siesta key beach area. However, that area of beach was about 1/2 mile walk down the beach and made for a good lunch/bathroom spot since there aren’t restaurants/bathrooms on the private beach access. We made great use of the free trolley as there were stops right near the condo. We recommend using the breeze app to make tracking the trolley easy. If you’re in a rush, Ubers are also readily available and usually less than $10 and less than a ten minute ride to everywhere you’d want to go- ie. Siesta Key Village, Captain Kurt’s etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was perfect!!!! Being so close to the beaches AND having shopping and food options nearby was the best!! Colin was very communicative and even gave a proactive option for an extra night. Thank you for being accommodating and very responsive!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Very clean! The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes you will need. The view was amazing!!! The free trolly into the village was so easy. The beach accessories were so nice to use. All we had to do was cross the street and we were on the beach. The pool area was also very nice! Grilling area was nice and clean and a small smoking area so my husband could enjoy a few cigars. Great communication! Thank you! Was a fantastic vacation!

The condo is exactly as pictured! We had a great experience. Hostesses were very responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The use of their beach gear was so convenient and made everything easier! The in unit laundry was so convenient to dry our towels and suits every night, total bonus. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again! 🐚🏖️❤️

Our first time to siesta key and suszanne’s place and won’t be our last. Both were wonderful places and a week was far too short. The condo was in a perfect place for us right by the water and close to the beach. Great sized pool and heated.Everything we needed was provided from kayak, SUPs and beach equipment. We can’t wait to come back.

This place was paradise! Beach, ocean, and pool all so close and relaxing. Everything was a short, walkable, and there is a free trolley to take you all around the area. Ryan was great at communicating and responded within 15 minutes at the latest. Lots of towels for the beach, well stocked kitchen. Nothing but 5 stars all around!! 10/10 recommend this property and host!!!!

2nd floor condo across the street from the beach. Condo felt just like home. Was able to cook breakfast and dinner most days when didn’t go out for restaurants. Was able to make coffee in the morning and enjoyed the courtyard view on the patio. Community is gated with security and they are always driving around making sure the rules are followed. Beach was incredible. Beach attendant supplied chairs and we used the condo supplied umbrella for shade. Lots of options for transportation around. Was a very relaxing experience!
