Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Downtown, Raleigh

The Cottage was a quaint and peaceful getaway! Private area to relax and enjoy your time. The place was very clean and had fluffy towels and a comfy bed. If you forget anything, not to worry, the cottage was stocked up with things that are commonly forgot, very thoughtful! Our host was friendly and responsive. My husband and I would love to come back and spend time at this beautiful little getaway!

Beautiful home situated in a beautiful space. This home had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. Lights were all labeled which is helpful when there are multiple! It was a very comfortable place to enjoy for a few nights. Didn’t even see any signs of the downstairs tenant. Communication was quick and kind. Thanks Gretchen!

Kaylaa is not super host, she is a super duper host! This was my first time staying at an Airbnb and Kaylaa spoiled us. My family members that have used Airbnbs, all said that I made a great choice and this has been their best stay ever at an Airbnb home. Her home is very clean, well equipped, great location, peaceful, and comfortable. Kaylaa is very responsive and quickly replied to my messages. She and her home should be the poster child for Airbnb! Amy’s place was in a nice quiet neighborhood that has friendly neighbors. We were able to take a walk to a nearby small park with our daughter. The Whole Foods is also close by and walkable, though part of the walk is on a busy road. The house has a spacious kitchen and living room area. The bathrooms are small and the three bedrooms are right next to each other so you could hear the other rooms. Amy is generous in providing all the necessities and even provided a new bag of Starbucks ground coffee. The kitchen has all the things you’d need for cooking, including a full drawer of spices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place for anyone that’s visiting Raleigh!

We have stayed at Rob and Susan’s for several years now, and it continues to be the best AirB&B we’ve experienced. They take great care with every detail, and are a pleasure to work with. Our favorite part is how they stock fruit and bagels so we don’t have to chase down breakfast the first morning!

Place was darling and super clean. So clean in fact that I didn't even feel comfortable walking on the carpet because I didn't want to mess it up. Host took extra effort to think of so many thoughtful cute details. It was beyond a pleasure staying there. I may or may not have felt like I was sleeping on a cloud.. Super cute area/neighborhand close to pretty much anything /everything that you may need. Would totally stay there again and may.

Erin's place was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The place included extra amenities with white noise machine in bedrooms, games for the kid, and extra towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all items needed for short stay and for cooking. Erin was very friendly, responsive, and proactive in instructions. Overall, the place feels peaceful and secluded.

Great spot to stay. Very close to downtown. I was taking Lime scooters in to a conference and was there in 5-10 minutes. Apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures

truly dedicated to the craft of hosting. I've never come across someone who takes as much pride as Stephen does in hosting. The space was extremely charming, and Stephen is a fantastic communicator. I took time to read a section of his memoir, dedicated to his experience with hosting. I was enamoured with the humour and heartfelt experiences that seem to crop up when one runs such a unique and compelling place to stay. I will certainly be back if I find myself in need of a place to stay in Durham again.

This is a great rental in walking distance to downtown and also close to greenways for running/walking cycling. Communication was great and the hosts had plenty of extra touches. Loved the WV charger situation—charged my model Y as quickly as my home charger. The bedroom with the desk has a bed that seems unlevel—perhaps a broken bedframe? The bigger bedroom bed was quite comfortable.

The house was very clean and spacious. It was exactly what my family of 16 needed. I wish we could have stayed longer than the 3 days we were there. It would have been amazing to explore the grounds some more.

Great communication, great neighborhood

We absolutely loved Theresa’s space. It felt centrally located, and only a short drive to any thIng we could want. The kitchen space is a chefs dream, and comes fully equipped. My toddler thoroughly enjoyed the backyard- complete with a mulberry tree! Thanks for letting us stay Theresa, we will surely be back!
