Vacation rentals with lake access in Douglas County

I needed a weekend getaway not too far from town and this was the perfect place for solitude, reading, journaling, reflection, and meditation. Robert was the perfect balance of checking in while giving you space. He would come in the shared space at morning and night to set it up, open windows, play light music, light candles, and close it down for the evening. It felt like the space was being re-presented to me every day. Robert has a keen attention to detail and really went above and beyond as a host. I hope to be back again sometime!

This is A Very Beautiful House ! My Experience Was Perfect. It’s in a quiet area not too far from a shopping plaza that’s walking distance! The Host Was Very Polite & accommodating, 10/10 definitely recommend!

Highly recommend a stay here. Everything was as stated and amazing. Our host communicated quickly and positively and made us feel at home. Room was spacious and common areas were well maintained.

Amparo was the best host I ever had with Airbnb. Her place felt like home. If a long stay is an option or your desire it’s definitely a perfect setup. Couldn’t ask for better a stay. Everything was clean, thoughtful and made it peaceful.

Staying at Amparo’s Airbnb was nothing less than amazing. She’s always responsive, even checked in on me once I gotten settled to make sure I had everything I needed for the stay. She even accommodated me with the air due to my health issues. If I could give her more stars I would. Definitely would recommend the stay her.

Grace and her husband were amazing hosts. The home was peaceful. I would recommend her home to anyone looking for a home away from home feeling. She is the most responsive air bnb host I’ve had. She checked in daily to see if I needed anything and even wrote me a handwritten note just to make sure I got the messages it was soo Sweet. An experience I will never forget.

This place was perfect for us! We had a concert to attend at the Coca Cola Roxy and this home was an easy 6 minute walk to the venue! They left very clear instructions (that I may have overlooked for some information) but were very friendly when I messaged them for clarification. Their response time is the best I’ve ever experienced on AirBnB. Mostly getting back to us in under 20 minutes. The place was well kept and had plenty of glasses and kitchen equipment if needed. We didn’t get a chance to visit the lake behind the place since it rained most of the time we stayed but it was stunning enough that we were able to keep the curtains drawn to enjoy the view. For the most part the neighborhood was quiet and made it a wonderful stay. When we make it back out to Atlanta this place will be first on my list!!

This place was everything I needed, maybe too much space for a solo traveler. There was enough space for me plus 2 -3 more comfortably. I didn’t use the kitchen or the pool on site however, both looked inviting to use. I did take a walk around the pond near by and caught a game at Truist park, also near by. I would come back

I could write an essay on how incredible this place is. The photos just won’t do it justice. It can’t capture the peace and serenity you experience. It’s only fitting because Ms.Teresa herself exudes just that. We are never choosing another place in the area as long as this is around. This is our second time here and somehow it was even better this time around. The value far exceeds the cost. Canoeing on the lake was among the most peaceful experiences I’ve had. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. I could go on and on about the cleanliness, the comfort, the attention to detail, but know that if you stay here you’ll leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and tranquil.

Victoria was a wonderful host! Clean and accommodating! This is our second year renting this unit and we plan to be back again next year. This is the perfect unit for catching a Braves game. Can’t get any closer to Truist Park.

Kyara was a very friendly and responsive host! Even before we arrived, she responded to our questions and inquiries. The space was very clean and inviting…and also safe and secure, which was important to our group of three senior ladies. Check in and check out were easy. Very few requests upon checkout, which was nice. Hand soap and dishwashing soap are provided, but guests may want to bring their own bath soap, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. Apparently, some folks like to bring their own supplies of these things due to allergies, and personal preferences. Air B & Bs are different in what they consider standard supplies. (Kyara did bring us soap and body wash when we requested it, which we appreciated!) We had an emergency while we were in town and Kyara was more than helpful in offering assistance to help us get it resolved. She is an excellent host and will make you feel quite welcome! We would recommend the Club Cozy to friends and would stay here again!

For a single guest I was very well pleased with the stay. The host was always responsive and took care of any issues immediately.

Great place, stayed for a braves game. It was a short walk to the stadium and not having to worry about parking and traffic was a plus. Would stay again there was great feedback and response and instructions on check in/check out.

Loved staying at this cottage in Tyrone with my daughter. It was clean, perfectly decorated and extremely peaceful. My kiddo played for hours outside and I had a relaxing time on the peaceful back porch. Wendy is responsive and helpful. When I let her know we were getting in later than expected with a delayed flight, she made sure to have outdoor lights on for us. Thank you for the lovely stay!
