Monthly Rentals in Doss

Great off the beaten path getaway with local shopping and restaurants only a few minutes away. The view overlooking hill country was fantastic, sunsets right behind the cabins, lots of wildlife and animals very eager to interact with guests. Largemouth bass fishing was some of the best I’ve had in a decade with their stocked ponds. Catfish and carp were options but not my target fish. Property boasts horses you can ride, goats, cattle, chickens, and a duck as well as other exotics give you an up close and personal experience if you rent the ATV and get a bag of feed. Fire pit for smores, and grill a short walk down the hill. My wife loved the bed sheets. They had a fresh smell, not that bland hotel bleach odor. Oh, and the best fresh laid eggs from free range chickens you’ll likely ever taste are right there on property to pick for breakfast! Definitely recommend and will go back. Patrick and Crystal were very friendly hosts, very accommodating, and highly responsive.

I absolutely adored this place. It was breathtaking. I had cancer last year, 3 family members and 2 pets die in the last 3 years and I’ve not once been able to decompress and just take a break and regroup. While on this trip I got news my grandmother was passing away. That’s how my trip started. As I was leaving I got a call from my son telling me my dog died, he was old but showed no sign of illness, and he was my heart and soul. I really enjoyed everything about the area, house and environmental perks like so many deer. It really gave me a sense of peace. I came with 2 other people but I think next time I’ll come alone. This is definitely my new favorite vacation spot. Even though I would’ve preferred to be there with my dog I really needed this time away for a moment to take a break and I recommend this to anyone looking for some peace, beauty, and clarity. We had a great visit. The cabin was well stocked with anything that we needed and very comfortable. It is a short drive to Main Street. C.C. and Luis were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. This was our second time staying at this casita and I’m sure we will be back again.

Carolyn and Ron were so welcoming! We loved staying at their little AirBnB in the Texas Hill Country. We took a quick weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary and it was definitely worth it! Close to Fredericksburg and such a pretty drive with wildlife all around!
