House vacation rentals in Dodges Ferry - Lewisham

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Bowen was just a great host and very responsive. The home was wonderful with an amazing view, love sitting there and watching the ships. When we are in Hobert will be staying there again.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Amazing stay! Beautiful place with all the amenities you need to feel right at home. The outdoor bath is a delightful bonus. Great location, very walkable. The host is super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the best places I've stayed at - very special location. Only issue we had was a contankerous TV remote which froze and required the unit be reset continuously - otherwise a perfect property.

I booked Anna’s beautiful home as a gift for some family members to spend a weekend away at. Anna was so incredibly responsive and helpful, and was happy to liaise with me even though I would not physically be there (so I could pass all the information on to my family members). They loved Anna’s home and said it was “just divine”. Thank you, Anna!

We had a wonderful stay at Little Arthur. The space was beautifully styled, and we especially appreciated the Samsung Frame TV with its wide range of streaming options and the convenience of AirPlay for our own content. The location was great, with plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby, many of which were recommended in the hosts guidebook. A big thank you to the hosts for all the thoughtful touches, and for being so accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. We’d absolutely recommend staying here!

Fabulous! Just like holidays when I was a kid - so nostalgic! Loved the 50s colours & decor & the thoughtful touches like hot choc & marshmallows, which were most appreciated after a long drive. Plenty of cookware and crockery, a lovely hot shower, comfy lounges and beds. Great range of DVDs to suit all tastes. and so many beautiful places to visit around the peninsular. Best of all - that beautiful beach through the back gate!! Really appreciate that you allow pets & have fully fenced yard. My little dogs had a fantastic time frolicking on the beach as did I. We definitely want to come back!

It was the first time in Tasmania for our family, and Robyn's mansion is definitely one of the best part of our trip. the mansion itself is located in a very peaceful area which is not very faraway from Hobart city, with an impressive scenic lakeview around the house. Robyn made sure every instructions are well-prepared for us therefore we had no problem checking-in, and she is very responsive when we needed help. In the morning after we arrived, we had a problem with the coffee machine and we reached out for help which Robyn replied and get the problem solved right away. after we went back from the town in the evening we found a new set of coffee machine and capsules for us, we were very impressive on how helpful and responsive she is toward us. to conclude our review, I would totally recommend this well-deserved home for vacation. The host is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time here, truly a sanctuary and this place made us fall in love with Tasmania. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Peter’s Airbnb during Dark Mofo. The place is very spacious, clean, private and the view is incredible!! Peter is very friendly, responded quickly to any questions and ensured the place was nice and warm for our arrival. A very smooth checkin process. Thank you Peter, I would 100% book again.

As the wifi password says: 'hidden secret'. We were impressed with every aspect of this place. It is well designed, thoughtfully resourced and pristinely presented.

Rob's place is beautiful inside and out. The views are spectacular. It's super quick and easy to walk to the beach, cafes and shops. The house is simply a joy to be in - light filled, comfy and wonderfully styled. You'll find everything you need here. Rob is a generous and accommodating host, communicating openly and responding promptly. We look forward to our next stay at Rob's place!

We stayed as a group and absolutely loved it - the space was warm, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was clean and tidy. All you could possibly need was in the kitchen. The view from the balcony was amazing. We already knew the area so were happy to return. One suggestion could be a number on the gate. Especially for people arriving in the dark. One thing we were shocked about was booking for 2 weeks and not being able to find any spare sheets or pillowcases to change the bed. Apart from that, thank you for letting us stay in your place Jim and Sue

we loved the house. everything was new and clean. the wiev was great and relaxing. jackie was a great host, she replied all our questions very fast and kindly. I had a few friends so far that asked me where we were staying 🤭, they will definitely come here when they are visiting tasmania. we felt that we're at our home 🥰 we are just sad about 2 things; 1- we couldn't have a chance to see the aurora lights, 2- we had to leave this house. Definitely a must!

Blue Lagoon beach house was a magical stay for our family with young kids. We arrived in a very cold/rainy day, got the fire going and the heaters and we were right at home. The next 2 days were absolutely stunning weather, we enjoyed incredible sunrises, breakfast outside with a view, rock hopping, swinging and playing on the beach. We could even watch the kids on the beach from the outdoor table set. The kids loved the kids room, they were very excited about this. The house has everything you need. We are grateful to have experienced this unique beach house stay on our Tassie holiday, being able to walk out the door and you’re on the beach was just the best. Thank you.
