House vacation rentals in Djursholm

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

We had a great stay at the house, large and spacious with amazing pool. Malin responded quickly to any questions and check-in was very smooth. Recommended!

The first thing Anna said when I spoke to her was “Feel at home” and it really sums up the whole experience of staying in her beautiful villa! The house was very clean, had plenty of sleeping places and fresh towels and bed linens. The kitchen was fully equipped and the pool absolutely amazing! Anna's response was outstanding! Always nice, available and very quick to respond. She really contributed to a weekend we won't forget! 💕

The house is amazing an ideal place for families! We had a wonderful stay at Jonas' house. The bed was comfortable, and the location is perfect, just a short walk from the water. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for families looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Beautiful, spacious family home & garden in lovely residential neighbourhood. Super well eqipped.. minutes walk to gorgeous bakery and bar/restaurant. Great supermarket and metro easy 5 minute walk away. Just 3 metro stops away from city. Petter’s communication and recommendations are great. Would absolutely recommend for family visiting Stockholm.

We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas week at Patrik and Mona's place. We thoroughly enjoyed the car-free, tranquil island living with its beautiful setting and would love to come back again another year if we get the opportunity.

There were six of us and we had wonderful days in the Swedish house. Everything was very spacious, clean and lovingly furnished. It takes about 50 minutes to get to the city by bus and train, which is absolutely ok. We would love to come back anytime and highly recommend the house.

We absolutely loved staying at Magdalena's place, it was impeccable clean and exactly like the photos. We were two young families visiting and enjoyed the living area and ofcourse the sauna. We took walks around the neighbourhood and cooked every day, the beds are very comfy and would love to come back. Also Magdalena is a superhost responding swiftly to all our questions and super accommodating. Thank you so much for having us.

Elzbieta and Bill’s basement apartment was perfect for two people visiting to see Stockholm. The bed was large and very comfy, and the apartment clean. You can slightly hear walking around from the main house above, but it’s not too loud. It is located far enough away from the main city to be in a peaceful charming neighborhood but close enough to reach Gamla Stan within 35 minutes by public transit. The bus stop is very close to the home, and there are restaurants and a grocery store just a 5 minute bus ride away. We only had one bump in our visit while checking in, we had to wait about an hour to be let in. But I could tell this was a one-off situation and the hosts were very apologetic and made an effort to make it up to us. Overall, I would definitely suggest staying here.

Gustavo’s place is clean, lovely and very livable. It is very close to the tunnelbana, Sodermalm, and Gamala Stan. We loved the location and Gustav was so helpful and friendly. Great place and wonderful host!

Elin’s accommodations were excellent. She was proactive and helpful as we came to Sweden for #Swiftholm. She was willing to go the extra mile, figuratively and literally, for our group. She left us a welcome basket and prepared the home beautifully. The neighborhood was immaculate and safe. You can easily Uber to center Stockholm or take other modes of transportation if you’re adventurous. Elin was ready to help us learn how if needed, too. She had the most comfortable beds with the best smelling linens. There were blackout shades to block the bright late spring Arctic sky. Elin’s home is the perfect place for a respectful girls weekend or multi-person group with tons of space to spread out. We would absolutely recommend her!

As a family of four, we had a wonderful time in Madeleine's beautiful cottage! Her husband Michael picked us up by boat and then went shopping for groceries with us, including specialty recommendations; we couldn't have had a better start to the Christmas holidays. The house is exactly as described, as are the amenities. If we had any questions, we could always contact Michael or Madeleine. The view of the water is fantastic and the ferry ride to Stockholm is a highlight for the whole family. In short, we will be happy to come back and highly recommend this place! The Tiny House is in a very quiet and beautiful area outside of Stockholm, which is very easy to reach by public transport. The house is very modern and has all the important facilities, two people can live comfortably in it. Sebastian and Cathrine are very friendly hosts and can be reached at any time and respond in no time. We would choose this location again at any time.

We stayed 5 nights over New Year, 2 families in total including children aged 6, 12 and 13. The house was spectacular, lovely and warm over such a cold period and in a gorgeous location overlooking a lake, easy walk to the closest Metro. It was really well stocked with a sauna and gym which were lovely additions. Bjorn was friendly, helpful and accommodating of our specific requests. Stockholm is an incredible city, very picturesque, excellent transport and lots to do. We tried a couple of local restaurants and a pub when we wanted to stay close. The Mall of Scandinavia was close by which was handy when we needed supplies. Be aware that takeaway alcohol isn’t available from the supermarkets in Sweden at all times, the wine shops shut early on a Saturday and don’t open again until Monday morning.

We had an amazing stay and loved the property. We will be back!
