Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. The house couldn't have been better! We stayed there for 5 days and used it as a base to explore the island. Both Nina and Leila were amazing hosts – there was a fire in the fireplace when we arrived, and the house is a great combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern comfort. Nothing was missing! Both Nina and Leila run farms and offer a lot of good things you can order from them. We strongly recommend contacting them and asking what meat they have. We really hope to be able to return!
