David's home in the Guerneville redwoods was a magical place for a solo retreat. The beauty and attention to detail was wonderful - from the art to the amenities to the guidebook! David was very responsive and kind in his communications. Would stay again.

What a beautiful place to stay! It has everything you need and is steps away from Sonoma Plaza , full of fun shopping and dining! The host was so nice and everything was very clear and easy. We will definitely be back!

This was our second time staying at Red Door Retreat and we had another great visit. As before everything was exactly as pictured and described. Checkin was very smooth and communication with Brett was great. We particularly enjoyed the several nice outdoor spaces and the hot tub. Quiet setting but short drive to local attractions and Guerneville town center. Highly recommended!

This Airbnb was a great home base - extremely well furnished, clean, and a beautiful setup with lovely outdoor space. We were thrilled with our choice and had so much fun watching our kids explore the backyard while we lounged and took in the trees.

We had a great time at The Cottage. It is well described in the listing, the place is a great place to chill and enjoy, especially the patio. It has everything you need (the listing mentions no stove but between all the other amenities and grill you can cook most things), is clean and very comfortable. The continental breakfast and cooking basics is a nice touch. We really liked our time there.

This was a perfect location for our mother and daughter getaway! We were able to explore both Sonoma county and Napa Valley. It was lovely that the host provided great dining, shopping and vineyard recommendations. The home was well maintained and the outdoor space was a pleasant place to enjoy at the end of each day.

In a word - delightful! We very much enjoyed the back deck and patio with morning and afternoon sun, a relaxing yard with views of the river, osprey, swallows and even deer. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances/utensils/cookware/dishware etc for easy mealmaking. Playing records from Adam's collection was memorable & reminiscent. The beds were very comfortable - especially nice with french doors looking out to the back yard and riverscape. The location is easy distance from Monte Rio, Jenner and Guerneville, paddleboarding, beaching, hiking nearby plus nice to walk our dog Lexie in the extended neighborhood. Adam was a great host. We highly recommend Adam's delightful cottage retreat, and look forward to future stays!

We loved our stay here. Bill was extremely sweet and kind. He even provided a lovely tray of coffee for us in the morning. The space was clean and quiet. The location was perfect for a relaxing end to our day. Would recommend!

I had the very BEST stay at Mark's place! Everything about the stay was magical - the cottage was quaint and lovely, surrounded by redwoods. Mark's hospitality was of the very best I have seen...he was so kind, helpful and caring and lovely to talk with during the stay. He cares so much and wants to make sure his guests have the best experience. And wow the baked goods are incredible! This was the best mini retreat I could have imagined..I will definitely be back!

Amazing stay! Very peaceful, beautifully surrounded by nature, nice and quiet. Very spacious and super clean, great for travelers with dogs. Only advice: bring a flashlight as it gets very dark at night and it will help if you have to take the pups out around the vicinity and/or if you arrive late at night.

Gem of a beachhouse, on a quiet street, just a short walk from the beach. Clean, tastefully decorated cabin and loved the peaceful back garden and front patio to enjoy the sun as well.

Artistic and quirky house. I loved it! You have to duck a lot, but it’s super cool. <5min walk to beach or downtown.

Wow! This property is absolutely stunning. Private and peaceful, it’s straight out of a magazine! Just 6 minutes from the most beautiful hiking trail, Goodlove Trail and just minutes to drive to some of the most beautiful wineries! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

This is a charming place, beautifully kept with lovely furnishings. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen as we cooked every day. The yard and gardens are beautifully kept, peaceful and serene. Oranges growing right outside the house! We were in town for a wedding, and Santa Rosa is right in the middle of so many enjoyable things to do. We hiked on the CCT out past Bodega Bay, enjoyed restaurants in Healdsburg, visited the redwoods and shopped at the Barlow in Sebastopol. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely home. We had a fabulous time!

The location was perfect for exploring—close to the Russian River, Armstrong Redwoods, and not far from the coast. But honestly, just being able to relax in the quiet, surrounded by trees, was a gift in itself. We also really appreciated how warm and responsive you were throughout our stay. This was our second long-term stay (each stay being several weeks) at the Sunset Serene Cottage and we will definitely be coming back for more. Consider this as your home away from home. The location and the view cannot be beat. The house is perfect for us as a couple - bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom have everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay. It’s surrounded by so much nature, and it was wonderful to have a busy day and then come home to this oasis. Neighborhood is also very safe and we took many walks to enjoy the view of the Bay. Cottage C was amazing! Loved the hot tub under the redwoods! The Russian River was fun if we wanted to stay close and you can’t beat the Northern California Coast 15 minutes away!

You won't find a more peaceful place for a getaway. If you sit in the rocker on the front porch and look out a the mini vineyard, the view will mesmerize you. If you want a more active stay, downtown Sonoma is only 10 minutes away. The kitchen is well outfitted, and there's a grill out back. The grounds are filled with flowers, there are olive trees lining the property (you'll find olive oil from the fruit of these trees in the kitchen cupboard!). Katherine is a wonderful host: warm and friendly; responsive; thoughtful . There are many nice touches around the house, which is comfortably furnished in all the rooms.
