Cabin vacation rentals in Derby

We stayed here for Derby weekend and couldn’t have been happier with it. Only thing we wished was different was a longer booking! Beautiful views of the Ohio River and very peaceful environment. Darlene was great with communication and instruction. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away from all of the city commotion.

Andrea is personally invested in your satisfaction as a guest. She is responsive and friendly. She has organized this space with guests in mind: extra hooks, shelves, storage spots, little extras here and there, sensibly placed for easy access. You'll know what I mean when you visit. And do. it was perfect for me and my husband and three teen daughters. Thank you, Andrea!

Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

The cabin was beautiful, easy to find, and had plenty of space for our group of 6. It rained the whole weekend so soaking in the hot tun in a screened in area listening to the rain was so peaceful. Location to local stops was perfect. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again. Wes is a great host who would have been available if we had needed was very responsive and accommodating to a sort of last minute change. Great host, great place!

Wonderful stay, everything was great. Loved the peaceful surroundings, the hot tub, porch swing, fire pit, and various other thoughtful touches and amenities. Host was friendly and checked in with us to ensure all was well. Would stay again for sure.

My 2 sisters, my niece, and I stayed here for a random girls weekend! There was plenty of room for 4 adult women and the screened in hot tub was so awesome. We ended up not doing a lot of the activities because we didn’t make reservations for kayaks or boats in advance and we were only there 2 days. Overall we had an excellent time and I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cabin! Had a lot of fun playing horse shoes and hanging in the hot tub. The Green Egg grill is another added bonus. Strongly recommend!

We absolutely loved being out in the country like we were! No one bothered us and we were so grateful to have met him like we did. Thank you so much for letting us stay at ur property.

Our family had a great time. The home is delightful. We watched lots of wildlife visiting the property. The list includes deer, a ground hog, a very vocal couple of woodpeckers, squirrels, a raccoon and more birds than I can name. Drinking morning coffee on either the front porch or screened porch was a treat each day. The proximity to the lake is a huge plus. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We hope to return soon.

Loved the cabin! All the needed amenities and more. Owner was near if needed but did not impede on our privacy. Hopefully we will visit again!!

Billie was a great host! When we had trouble finding the place, she answered the phone immediately and guided us through. When I called her shortly after about the tricky AC, she offered to take time out of what she was doing to set it from her phone. Everything was clean, cozy, and the queen bed was so comfortable!

This cabin was clean and perfect, just as described in the listing! Had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. Beds were comfortable. Nancy was responsive and very friendly. We will be back!

The property was very nice and the deck enjoyable. The house was not only comfortable but well furnished with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the comfortable deck as well as skipping rocks on the creek at the back of the property. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

This was a great place for a big group. If you plan to make your own food, the kitchen has all the tools, dishes, pan, etc. - everything you need. The saloon was fun and the beds comfortable. Free firewood and a nice fire ring. Be aware that while it was close to the lake it was about a 40 minute drive to Diamond Cave and about 1 hour to Mammoth Cave visitors center. Scenic drive. Also, no restaurants, Walmart or large grocery store nearby that we could find. Some groceries at I65, about 1/2 hour away. We brought our own food and loved to quiet ambiance. I would definitely come back again.

Marissa was so responsive… and we were placed in the middle of Bluegrass country was simply amazing! I spent two days at Mammoth Caves National Park, and one day at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, jamming with other musicians, and one day at the Bill Monroe museum and homeplace in Rosine, Kentucky… It was an amazing! adventure!

Tina and Wendell (I think was his name ) . Amazing amazing people . Really enjoyed having them around to talk . Horse shoe pits are amazing . The fire pit amazing . Even the cats were friendly and loving . So peaceful . Tina gave us jar of sauce for our dinner . Would love to come back for visit . Thanks for having us .

The cabin was perfect for us! Such a relaxing and peaceful stay! The cabin was one of the cleanest AirBnBs we’ve stayed at. Host was very responsive and check in/check out was a very easy process!

I have stayed at two of the cabins a number of times and love them. Very comfortable and good location for me (espeially bc I visit family in the area). Love sitting on the porch in the morning to look at the beautiful scenery, pond and geese! Babies are so cute! Its so quiet and beautiful and very comfortable. Nice to get away from the crazy city scene! and its not far to drive to local restaurants.

We arrived after dark but gps took us right there. We came from checking out French Lick area and West Baden. While sitting in the atrium of that hotel I kind of wished we were staying there until we walked in the door of the beautiful log cabin. It was beautiful! It was clean and cozy. Although it rained the whole visit it was nice to sit on either the front deck or the screened in back deck area. It was private but other places nearby so it wasn’t so secluded it was scary! Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Loved the little bear family on the beam. I would live there full time but thanks for sharing your piece of heaven!!!
