The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Felt super welcome right away! Accommodation is superbly furnished with all necessary amenities already ready and is beautifully located in the heart of the city center ideal for entertainment purposes or day(s) away in Groningen and exploring the beautiful city. Ineke is a woman with a heart of gold. I didn't feel uncomfortable at any time. I will definitely come back to Ineke more often!

A super nice stay! Beautiful and clean spaces, and pleasant contact with Gerda. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood and the center is within walking distance. For light sleepers, I would only recommend bringing earplugs, because you can hear the street well.
