Tiny house vacation rentals in Delmarva Peninsula

I stayed here visiting family nearby. The place is very clean and set up thoughtfully for guests. I really appreciated that it was already stocked with some coffee and creamers, so I didn't need to go shopping right after arriving. The neighborhood is small but walkable and has two good seafood restaurants a short walk away. Pam provided clear instructions and communication.

We had a wonderful peaceful weekend at the little cabin! Beautiful view of the water and right next to the beach was why we were drawn to this location. There was perfect space in the living room to set up our baby’s pack and play. The AC unit kept the whole house cool which was nice to beat the heat outdoors.

This is a beautiful, private place with amazing nature. We saw deer and hummingbirds, and they were pretty close to us. This place has a wonderful cat (Mr. Moo) who will give you much love! It is a bummer that we didn’t see dogs, but we got to see the chickens and got eggs from them! Amazing place! Although we may not hear beautiful sounds like others mentioned, we felt the peace and mindless presence. We enjoyed our time, and it was a perfect place for our short retreat.

We enjoyed our stay in Masha's delightful Urban Cottage and would definitely consider booking there again. It was a lovely atmosphere surrounded by trees in a forest setting, while still being easily accessible from DC.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time staying here. It is so close to everything so we were able to shoot over to the beach at a moments notice. Patty provided an incredible amount of food recommendations as well as information for events that were going on. I highly recommend spending some time visiting the town of Lewis and watching a sunset at Savanah Beach.

My dog and I stayed here for two nights on our first trip to the eastern shore. It was a perfect home base for a trip up to Chincoteague as well as the more southern half of the shore. Mona’s guidebook suggestions were super helpful! We were able to check out quite a few of them, including the savage neck dunes, which are incredible. I mostly kept to myself, but this is a great place to do that. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed the caretaker's cottage located within minutes of our family gathering nearby. We appreciate the efforts made by John and Fiona to retain the historic authenticity and charm of the property while adding some 21st century amenities. The only regret is that we did not accept the offer of fresh eggs from their henhouse. Perhaps next time...

Beautiful setting and property. Nestled in a natural setting near a pond with the soothing sound of a water feature. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very private with quaint town and restaurants within a 1 mile drive.

This is such a lovely peaceful cabin. The hosts came to greet me and were very friendly. It has a separate entrance and driveway and is well-lit. I could have stayed here much longer, it was such a little gem. The back deck is lovely, you get to look out into the forest, and yet you’re half a mile away from shops and restaurants. It’s a great little enclave in the middle of society. A perfect escape. I was happy to discover they had coffee and a coffee maker. Everything was clean. The bathroom is small and you have to remove your toiletries to shower, since the shower goes directly onto the toilet and sink, almost RV vibes. Not an issue but good to be aware of. It’s a bit on the pricey side (I paid around $300 for a night, which included an extra $20 to have the flexibility to cancel if I needed) but it’s such a magical place, I knew I wouldn’t cancel, and surely glad I didn’t. Pretty perfect as far as Airbnb’s go! Thank you so much for a pleasant stay! Totally recommend.

The stay was very nice, it made for the perfect getaway for a few days! We especially appreciated the noise machine in the bedroom and the hammock out back! We'll be sure to check back whenever we're looking to stay in Cape Charles again!

Brad and David were extremely responsive and kind. We were given plenty of recommendations around the area to visit during our stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit the beach or that's planning on going to Busch Gardens. I would happily stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay this past weekend! If I could give more stars I would and I’ll be definitely bringing my children with us next time. Everything that we needed was easily accessible and clearly labeled so we had no issues during our stay. The property was stunning and I loved reading about Jesus while looking around such a great touch. I hope God continues to bless them and provide in all the ways they need. We really enjoyed our stay at the loft! It was right like the pictures and it was very clean. the farm fresh eggs were a fun touch! :) The fun little touches, like the snacks on the table, the eggs in the fridge and the binder of local things to do were really appreciated! highly recommend this place!

Fantastic cottage with everything you need including bikes and a parking pass! Amazing value!!

This was a sweet spot near the park and walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants! We had two outdoor areas of sitting to read with plenty of privacy. I was a great stay!

It had everything we needed for our short stay. We loved the unique decor.

Whitney was an excellent host! She greeted us with a tour, and was incredibly flexible with our changing schedule due to an infant. She left thoughtful touches - even purchasing a book for our little one!! Her place was exactly as described and we had an excellent stay.

We enjoyed our stay. It is clean, comfortable, has a great kitchen, with lovely handmade bread and fresh eggs, beautiful river view, and we enjoyed use of the kayaks. 🙂

The unit was a perfect spot, close to everything we needed but quiet and peaceful. unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but the firepit, grassy lawn and access to 2 bicycles were absolute pluses. We will book again if we have the opportunity.

We had a perfect stay at the Freedom Cottage. It may have been our best Airbnb stay yet. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well thought out and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the history behind the cottage/land and the dining recommendations left in the coffee table book. The bed was incredibly comfortable which is rare when away from home. The location of the cottage was close in proximity to nearly all attractions we visited during our stay. Highly recommend Freedom Cottage to anyone visiting Williamsburg. Tara was a great host!

We loved our stay on the houseboat. It was larger than we expected and was very comfortable. We had most of what we needed in terms of appliances and utensils. It was very private and quiet with beautiful views of the creek area and the passing boats. Having the facilities of the yacht club was also very convenient. We never needed to drive as there are a number of restaurants and activities within walking distance.

Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. The location, the accommodations, and the ‘residents’ of Grateful Meadows were absolutely magical. We really enjoyed our time there, and are extremely thankful we found it. Such a great experience, thank you!

My best friend & I had the best stay! We were here in 2023 & we came back to celebrate her birthday. The Glamper is so cozy & has amazing AC! Jennifer was so kind & took our photo in front of her beautiful hydrangea bush. Cape Charles is 20 minutes away & a beautiful winery is right next door to the Airbnb! One of our favorite stays & we will definitely be back! Thanks Jennifer! 🌞
