Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Delaware River

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an excellent experience! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for our trip to the Zoo Fantastic host—communicative, responsive, and clearly cares about making guests feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the small touches like snacks, a guidebook, etc I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

This is probably one of the nicest Airbnb’s in the Pocono mountains! Dawn is an excellent host and is very communicative! Check in was a breeze, the house was cozy and the views from the deck was just stunning! We loved our stay here and hope to come back again!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

It is a five (5) star hotel with fully equipped home away home Airbnb! We’ve been to different Airbnb’s around the world, experience at this beautiful Bridge Covered Cottage is one of our bests! We’ve enjoyed every minute of the staying/visiting in Lancaster PA. We appreciate your thoughtful hospitality. No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

Nazy’s home was very charming and decorated beautifully in service of the old house’s character! I appreciated the quality linens, great coffee/coffee maker, and nice toiletries. The front porch was really enjoyable on the crisp spring mornings with a cup of coffee. The window ACs weren’t set up yet for the season in the bedrooms, but luckily the whole house fan was sufficient to keep the house cool.

The place was just as described. Very clean and efficient. Loved the outdoor space, so comfortable. Eduardo was easy to communicate with.

This was my second stay here- just as peaceful, clean and comfortable as the first! Spacious “in-law” quarters with all the necessities and a nice touch of extras like a stocked coffee station with Keurig brewer, countertop convection/air fryer oven, and electric fireplace. The apartment’s cleanliness and neatness is a standout. Great communicaton from the host as well.

Modern, beautifully decorated unit with great privacy. Views are amazing, so wide, expansive and peaceful. You can watch sunrise and sunset from the balcony! You can see people passing on the side street in their horse and buggies. The outdoor seats are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable too. Matt is a phenomenal host, his response time is super quick, he is very helpful and accommodating.

Great location. Nice neighborhood. Unit offers everything you need. Upgraded very cool bathroom. Large bed. Easy walking to downtown area. Nice balcony to sit outside. Included a parking spot. We liked the unit and would stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay and so quiet and private! Skeitha is a great host. She adjusted the temperature for me and checked in everyday to make sure I had what I needed. The place is comfortable and had everything a guest could want and more! And when her listing says the place is clean, you can believe it, because it was spotless! From here, it's easy to get into the center of Philadelphia and also to do things further outside of Philadelphia, so it's a great location. And last, but certainly not least, it is a fantastic bargain. So stop swiping and book this airbnb now.

Great place in walking distance to several coffee shops and restaurants. Lovely neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. Esther was very communicative and had everything stocked that one might need. Five Stars!!!

The place was really nice and the host was great! Don’t get discouraged if the power goes out during your stay cause apparently that’ll happen 2-4 times a year according to the host. Other than that I highly recommend

A very comfortable home with ample outside space. We were there for our sisters memorial so I don't have fun stories about things we did but my brothers and I were able to be together and there was so much room to host her family and our cousins for meals. To have 4 bedrooms for 6 adults at the rate we paid was very helpful to our budget. Thank you for that

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our girls trip at Natalia’s in Princeton!! She has a beautiful, spacious home, well-furnished and had plenty of bathroom space for the 5 of us. I was so pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the area was. The backyard is large and scenic with trees and shrubbery that make the space feel quite private. The large windows in the foyer and back sliding doors also let in such beautiful natural light. Natalia was an awesome host, checking in proactively and always anticipating our needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place is incredible. There are so many places for small group conversations and hangout time. It felt like being in two houses. Bedrooms are lovely and varied, kitchen is well stocked. Lighting is soft and plentiful, with lots of natural light during the day. We loved spending time around the fireplace and out on the deck. Thank you for creating such a wonderful property!!

This is our second time staying here and we would love to come back again!! The pool table is in great condition, the hot tub was great and the outdoor space was so relaxing. The hosts are super friendly and we loved everything about the property. Highly recommended

Our brief stay at Shahram’s place was wonderful. The place is quietly tucked away at the back of a large lot where deer graze on the evening hours. The space was ample in size, has many common amenities that helped us feel right at home. Shahram was very communicative and flexible which really helped us relax. 10/10 would recommend.
