Cottage vacation rentals in DeLand

This was a last minute trip and I was so grateful for the opportunity to stay there! I would book again!

We had a wonderful experience at Sues place! She had everything you could possibly need, the home was super cute, furniture was clean and in great shape, and the community pool was just steps away. The Kitchen was clean and extremely well stocked with dishes and all the extras. If you are going to any of the attractions, this is a wonderful location. They are doing construction on the entrance road, but it is not a deal breaker. We will definitely stay when we return next year.

The cabin was immaculate with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The renters were even kind enough to supply a crock pot at our request so we could enjoy the lake while the dinner cooked itself. There was an issue with the AC, which typically could ruin a weekend. Our hosts did a walk through prior to our arrival and found the problem and had if fixed before it could ever be an issue. Their communication with us was fantastic and they were a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to anyone. We have stayed at this particular campground for several years and there are some full time residents that have been very unwelcoming. This is not a reflection on our hosts. Other host in the campground have also been very wonderful.

We were happy with our stay. Had a few complications but Christopher was very responsive to everything I brought up. we stayed for about a week and half and it was close enough to Orlando to not have a long drive but far enough away to feel comfortable and not crowded. We plan to stay here again in the future with our pets when we come back to the area

Melanie was super helpful during the check in process and overall it was a great place to kick back and relax for the weekend. She even had toys for the little ones!!!!

This place felt just like home, loved the Disney theme , kid friendly , host was very nice and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Had all the essentials needs for a wonderful stay, the area was peaceful, would definitely come back down and stay again

We truly appreciated this sweet little home. It was in a central location to family members we were visiting. It was very clean, organized, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The deck overlooking the pond always had a wonderful breeze- very peaceful place to spend time. I enjoyed figuring out the layout of the neighborhood and it made for an enjoyable walk every morning. The hosts are super KIND!! From the first confirmation message, check-in instructions, and throughout our stay they were attentive and responsive. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!! Thank YOU Larry Karen for sharing your lovely home❤️- side note: the RV community had a couple events for the residents during our stay. A karaoke music thing Friday evening and then water inflatables for the kids on Saturday— very kind for the kids especially- nice community!

The house was very nice and cosy, very comfortable and felt like home, really nice quiet area and felt safe. Everything was close by, supermarkets, restaurants etc and Disney parks were only 15-20 min drive away which was convenient. Clint was fast at responding to any concerns or questions, he was helpful and a great host. I would 100% stay here again

I had a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb in Mount Dora! The home looked exactly like the photos. It was clean, stylish, and thoughtfully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. One standout moment: the AC wasn’t working when I first arrived, but Talia, the host, responded immediately and had it fixed the same day. Her prompt attention and communication made all the difference and really showed how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. Great location, great host, and a great stay!

Loved it and 100% would stay again. The cottage is as advertised in a beautiful and peaceful complex. Has an awesome little dog park with plentiful outdoor seating and activities. Zenia does well on getting the small details right with the cottages being stocked with everything you’ll need.

My family and I loved our stay at the cottages. The check in process was smooth and the host was very responsive. The location of the home is in a prime location with a lot of great food and activities within walking distance. The rental also included all of the beach essentials, like umbrellas, chairs, and a beach mat. This was the prefect home for our vacation and we will definitely book here again!

Cute little house right next to the beach. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops. House is a bit older but cozy and charming. About a mile from Flagler entrance ramp. Quiet neighborhood even though close to local bars you do not hear the night life. Will was very responsive. Would stay again.

This was my second stay at Dana’s guest house and it was great. Dana communicated very well before and during the stay. She answered my questions very quickly. I had a relaxing one-night stay and slept well to be ready for driving the next day. I highly recommend Dana’s place if you are staying near Coleman, The Villages, or Wildwood.

We had a great time at Lauren’s place. It was beautiful and very peaceful. And only 15 minutes to restaurants and activities. Would stay again.

I remember staying at Tropical Palms many times when I was a kid… and I have to say, it was always fun and enjoyable, but the experience has even improved after many years. Sharon’s cottage was clean and well maintained. Clear instructions both in the app and inside the house. She was very responsive and friendly. The house looked just like the pictures and had all the amenities you might need. You just can’t beat the price plus proximity to Disney. I’ve stayed on property many times and it pays to stay just a few minutes away and save some cash. This place is super private, has a heated pool, tons of nearby stores and restaurants, and friendly staff. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Sharon!

Courtney's place was clean, thoughtfully furnished, and beautifully decorated. All the listed amenities were exactly as described, and our stay felt very comfortable and homey. The beds were super comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful extras—like the white noise machine, the bath salts, and the variety of coffee brewing tools. The location was also perfect—less than a 10-minute drive from the DeLand skydiving dropzone where we jumped, and just minutes from downtown, which has lots of great shops and restaurants. Despite being so close to everything, the home is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood—so much so that we wouldn’t have known how central it was without checking a map. Courtney also provided a great local guide to restaurants and coffee shops. We tried a few of her recommendations and really enjoyed them. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting DeLand!

I had a wonderful stay here with my boyfriend. It’s a bit secluded which I saw some people complain about in reviews but what they fail to mention is that the hosts’ house is is around 200 feet away and there’s a second airbnb directly next to this one. It’s along a dirt road, yes, but there are still other people in the area. The lake and land are beautiful and there are some chairs and a table on the porch of the cottage where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise. Check in was easy, quick, and required no face-to-face social interaction (something I enjoy not needing to do). The AC works well and is quick to respond to your inputs. The bed is comfortable and there is a very roomy closet that you can keep your luggage in. You can walk straight to the watersports complex right out the door of the cottage. This stay was extremely affordable and I am so lucky that I found it and was able to snag a few nights! I enjoyed my stay so much, and so did my boyfriend. Highly recommend!

Johann’s place was AMAZING! It was super nice and affordable and perfect for me and my husband’s trip to Disney. The private entrance made us feel safe and the place itself was clean and so cozy. We will definitely be trying to stay here again for future trips!

This place was exactly what we were looking for when staying for our Disney vacation and then heading out for our cruise. It's cute, has what you need, and they are fantastic communicators! The community pool was nice especially after a long hot day at the parks. Would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed at several of the cottages at the Alling House and the property is beautiful. In general all the cottages are very nice. This one (Homestead) is the oldest of the bunch and does show its age. That being said the unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I’d be happy to stay here again.

Yupon Cottage was so perfect for us that we stayed a month! It’s in a safe, walkable, and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are super friendly and right next door if you need anything. We definitely hope to go back.
