Apartment is above garage in the historic district of Sycamore. Private laundry room is available to guests and free of charge. If you’re coming for the car show in July we are just 1 block from where the car display starts. Sycamore Steam Show is approximately 7miles/15 minutes. City park is 1 block from apartment.

We are five minutes away from NIU and downtown DeKalb, and also very close to supermarkets, restaurants and coffee.

My friend and I stayed here for a night, and it was a perfect spot on the way to Chicago and back to Iowa! The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Would definitely come back again!

The home is in a nice, family-oriented neighborhood. Sidewalks make walking pleasant. Property is clean and spacious. Easy pull through access for entering and leaving and good parking. Televisions in every room! Air hockey and foosball tables were popular with our kids Great laundry facilities. We would definitely return if in the area again.

Nice little place in the perfect location for downtown Sycamore. Easy walk to anywhere downtown. Steps from multiple bars. Easy to follow directions from hosts to find the parking spot and the apartment. The lack of any hotels near downtown makes this place a good value based on supply and demand.

The studio features a comfortable queen bed with under-bed storage, positioned next to a nightstand with a lamp. A mini fridge is situated nearby, and a window with red curtains allows natural light to enter the space.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely two-bedroom apartment! It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We ended up arriving earlier than we initially thought and Merita was incredibly responsive. We were able to check in early and she made the check-in process seamless. The location was great, and the apartment felt welcoming and homey. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay!

Absolutely loved this place I’ve only stayed at beach homes for the most part of my Airbnb experiences but this by far felt like home! Host was very responsive didn’t even have to wait 10mins for a response! I would definitely book again if i come out this way in the future! Very homey!!

Love this cute little gem! This is our second time staying here. The first time we stayed in the upstairs apartment and this time, we stayed in the downstairs apartment. Both are exactly as described and super cute! Close to everything. Downtown is in walking distance! We will stay every time we are in town! Great hosts!

Lashona’s place was so cute and cozy! Nice size kitchen to cook in. Her place is right downtown so it was in walking distance to everything. So many good restaurants to eat at. Everything was great with our stay. The only complaints I had was there were no hangers, toaster or a broom to sweep the floors during our stay. My suggestion for the owner is to provide hangers for guests to hang their clothes up, especially for people who fly in and don’t pack hangers. Also a toaster and a broom so guests can keep up with the daily cleaning. (I’m a neat freak) lol Other than that, her place is perfect and I think you would be very happy staying at her place. Lashona is so very sweet and accommodating. I can’t say enough nice things about her. I will definitely book with her again. 🩷
