Mark and Lisa’s home was absolutely amazing. I frequently visit Dekalb and can say this was easily the best experience I have had not only for the home but communicating with hosts as well. The home itself was very well kept, and decorated. It was also extremely clean. The bed in the main bedroom was VERY COMFORTABLE which was a huge plus since most air bnbs don’t have the best mattresses. We felt right at home and comfortable in the space. Mark and Lisa were very accommodating and responsive to my messages and were always positive and friendly. Even offered recommendations in the area if needed. I never felt like I was a bother which was great. I hope to have this as one of my go to spots in the future!

Our stay was home away from home ….great location having meijer right there, a nice quiet subdivision and nearby anything you’d want whether shopping or restaurants…I’d definately book here again!

What a nice welcoming home! Juan could teach a Master Class in how to be an Airbnb host. We were busy with family during our two-day stay, so only had limited time to enjoy this home, its large patio and big yard. Rest assured, we highly recommend it as a great place to stay…very near NIU campus and easy to find. Juan thinks of every detail to make guests feel comfortable and at home & responds quickly to messages. Five stars, for sure!!

Reasonably priced for the size! In a nice quiet area. If you need extra space while I’m town, this is the place.

Absolutely loved this place I’ve only stayed at beach homes for the most part of my Airbnb experiences but this by far felt like home! Host was very responsive didn’t even have to wait 10mins for a response! I would definitely book again if i come out this way in the future! Very homey!!
