We loved our stay here. It was central to everything we wanted to see and do, incredibly walkable, lively and comfortable. The space was exactly as it appeared in the photos, and it was a very unique way to experience Amsterdam and everything it has to offer! If we are back in the city we will certainly be booking again!

We loved our stay at Peter’s houseboat! It is so quaint and makes you feel like a true local in Amsterdam. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful park across the canal. 10-15 walk to everything. 5 minute walk to the tram. Peter was also very responsive and had great directions. My favorite part is how comfy the bed was, coupled with the deck chairs on the boat. I would highly recommend to all friends and family!

The Cottage is located in this small village, on a canal, with a beautiful windmill near by. Small but charming, it has everything a couple might need for a romantic and quiet getaway. The village and near by villages are very pretty and worth exploring on a bicycle. I would definitely return one day.

Inge is a pleasant person and ready to help (offer to do laundry). Some sweets were waiting for us upon arrival. The accommodation is pleasant and good location. Recommended.

It is a beautiful accommodation overlooking the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day overlooking the lake. If the weather cooperates, you can also swim there. Will definitely be back :)

Brilliant location, gorgeous summer house. Swimming in lake from the deck was a highlight followed by the outdoor shower. Outdoor dining whilst the sun set was beautiful. Wildlife also entertaining 😊. Jes was a brilliant host who made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you.

We were completely satisfied with the accommodation! Everything was clean, cozy and as described. The landlords were very friendly and helpful – you felt welcome right away. We especially loved that you could borrow bicycles for free to explore the surrounding area. A real highlight was also the possibility to take a boat ride across the canal – that was a nice stay. We would definitely recommend the place and would be happy to come back

Our stay at Milou's place was great! The small cottage is perfectly equipped and is very idyllic in a wonderfully green, quiet residential area. Ideal to unwind. Milou was very easy to reach and gave us helpful tips. The accommodation is very suitable for a trip to Amsterdam. Milou gave us the tip to take the train from Almere Port. That worked out great. We highly recommend the place! The only suggestion for improvement: blinds in the bedroom, as it gets light quite early in the summer.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Very positive experience! The cottage is wonderful (and clean), the luxury is very nice and the area is beautiful. The animals (chickens and pigs) make it a very idyllic place. Rik and Hanneke are incredibly nice hosts, I would recommend this to anyone. Small things were very thoughtful, for example that Rik always and quite quickly responded to questions, Hanneke came after a question whether a drawing pen was present to bring a drawing pen (even before we actually needed it) and when we wanted to stay an extra night but this was not possible due to new tenants they thought along and were very flexible. In short, very good experience thanks to the hosts, the beautiful place and the nice house.

We had a great time in the Netherlands. Impeccable, bright, clean accommodation as described on the site. We couldn't ride the bike because of the bad weather, unfortunately, but we'll do it another time. I would recommend this real cocooning accommodation. We will return to this beautiful area.

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

We had a very nice stay, the bikes were a bonus. Rutger was also extremely helpful with luggage storage and suggestions for things to do. The welcoming snacks were also a pleasant suprise!

Unfortunately, I can’t give this place more stars then 5 ;). This place is worth every singe penny. I have never had this much of fun and cozy vibes in my life ever. Swimming in cold water and drying off in the sun. Bbq in the cold night and then eating it sitting near to the fire in front of the beautiful lake having late night dinner. Time flew so quick and I will definitely come back and stay at the place! Every penny worth.

Wilma’s place was the best place we could have hoped for. The tiny house is located around a beautiful canal and the countryside is just a joy to discover.

A lovely 3 generation holiday that had something for everyone. The cabin was spacious and spotless.We all had bikes and it was a perfect place to explore.We would highly recommend Wander Island for picnicking and swimming.We all would have liked to have stayed longer.

Halfway between Amsterdam and Utrecht. Close to the highway and p+r to visit big cities. Shops nearby. Refills stations 50m from the house. Accurate description and effective communication. Thanks for the stay.

Our stay in this lovely villa was truly a highlight! The house is very modern, stylish, and furnished with great attention to detail - we felt completely at home. The peaceful location and the view of the water provided pure relaxation. Ginger and Pepsi, the two cats, were the absolute highlight for us and made our stay even more special! The management was super friendly and helpful, and every question was answered quickly. We’d love to return in summer to enjoy the amazing outdoor activities like the SUP boards. Highly recommended! If you want to experience a houseboat for yourself, you can try it out here in a super uncomplicated way. The view of the water in the morning and the gentle rocking give a special connection to this strong element.

Overall, it was a nice stay. The shower had a problem, but it was repaired.

This place is incredible. The pictures (which are amazing) don't do it justice. Simply an incredible place, an incredible location, beautiful and immaculate home. We used it as a base to explore the surrounding area. My only regret is that we didn't spend longer in the place itself. Out of this world. If you're hesitating on this listing, don't, book it!!!! The host had fantastic communication also.
