Family-friendly vacation rentals in De Cocksdorp

Justus & Heleen's house is absolutely fantastic, the photos don't do it justice as it is larger and better equipped than described. Extremely comfortable and for us ideally situated being only 10 minutes drive from the Medemblik Regatta Center where we were sailing. The area is peaceful, and local supermarkets excellent as well as a local restaurant serving good food. We will be back soon!

We were here for the second time and it is and remains a paradise for children and parents! So warm, so much attention to detail, so child-friendly. Especially the time in the pool and with the animals will be remembered for a long time! We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a great holiday

Very nice place to stay. Furnished with passion and in the middle of nature. Small petting zoo and trampoline for the little ones and hot tub for the big ones. Perfect for a getaway.

A family getaway with five people was planned. The house is scenic, the village and beach are also easily accessible on foot, the path through a nature reserve is magical. The house exactly matches the descriptions, is spacious and bright – even in bad weather, if you can't use the enclosed garden with sun and shade spots, you are welcome to stay here. Those who feel like cooking will get their money's worth in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. We had a very nice and pleasant stay, thank the hostess for making this great accommodation possible at such short notice and would be happy to come back.

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

Sam's place had everything we needed! Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were comfortable. It's not far to walk to the beach from the house. Perfect for a weekend away!

Very nice bungalow, it had everything you need. Great as a starting point for bike tours, we slept wonderfully. Everything is very nice, communication also worked well. A mosquito repellent on the windows would be good, we had to search everything very well in the evening, leaving windows open at night was difficult. Overall, we were absolutely thrilled.

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

We were very nicely received with a host gift. We had complete privacy and very good written descriptions of supermarkets also quickly accessible doctors and even emergency veterinarians were listed. I am very happy and was able to have a wonderful time with my husband.! :)

We felt right at home with Kim. Kim is very friendly and easily accessible. There is nothing missing in the apartment. Everything is available. We are two adults, two children and a small dog - there is enough space ;-) Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great stay at this apartment! Everything was very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location was ideal – quiet but still central, so we could easily reach everything. We particularly liked the warm communication with the host- always friendly, helpful and reliable. A small note: the stairs to the apartment are – typical of this beautiful old building – a bit steep. It wasn't an issue for us, but you should know. We would love to come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

Spent a very nice 14 days here and everything is as described. Very nice contact, Martijn is always available if necessary and very helpful. A great welcome package was waiting for us, we were definitely not there the last time.

We were very warmly welcomed by Maya and there was even a nice bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine and a treat for our dog. This was a great surprise. We liked the little cottage and the garden very much, everything was as described. We had a nice time there and will definitely be happy to come back.

We stayed in Elke's apartment as a group of three adults and it was perfect! We enjoyed the space, as it allowed us to spend time together in the apartment during a rainy day. There is more than enough space to cook together, do activities or whatsoever. Worth noting: It is a family apartment. The bedrooms are upstairs and are not separated by walls. It is basically one big room (spacious attic). Last but not least: Elke is a great host! She is very friendly and communicates proactively (subsequently to my booking she proactively informed me about the bedroom/privacy topic). All in all: I can highly recommend the place and we would love to come back!

Annet was a very sweet and accommodating host; responds quickly and gives very specific instructions. Everything worked super easy. We had a good time in her cute cottage with well-equipped garden, close to the dunes and the beach.

At Wendela and Martin you have a lovely quiet (private) place. They live on the road themselves, but behind they have built a cottage with everything you need. Also a private terrace where it was wonderful to spend the evening. Wendela and Martin are very friendly, warm welcome with delicious strawberries and cold drinks in the fridge. The cottage is full of comforts and has good beds and a nice shower. We were looking for a place to stay because our son participated in the Ironman 70.3 and then this place is definitely recommended. But it is also a good base to take beautiful bike rides. We have therefore had a number of wonderful days.

Evelien was wonderful, kind and helpful. The apartment was just as it was described and the pictures are what you enter as well! Perfect apartment for us and our little girl 15 months old. the bed was soooo comfortable! the apartment was clean and well looked after. we didn't hear any noise apart, it was incredibly peaceful.

Anila's house, which is very nice, is located on a campsite very close to the beach. It is completely overgrown with trees and bushes, so you are very private there. It was very quiet, but we were there outside the holidays. We had a lovely time... thank you.

A beautiful unique place on a nice campsite. The tent house is very comfortable, spacious and with a nice bed. A big plus is that you sit privately, overlooking the greenery. The two of us really enjoyed the island and would love to come back. Recommended the tent house immediately warm to friends and family!

Nice house in the countryside. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Stephanie replied swiftly to all our messages. We spent a long weekend there and had a great time.

Wonderful place on the campsite with a beautiful view and near the beach entrance. The beds were nice and the duvets nice and warm. We'd like to come back another x
