Wij wonen in het achterhuis. Ideaal voor fietsers en wandelaars. Slechts 3 km van Steenwijk centrum en 3.9. km van het NS station. Dichtbij Giethoorn, de Weerribben en Hunebedden in het natuurgebied Holtingerveld. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

In the most beautiful part of Giethoorn, outside the busy tourist area, this unique holiday home is surrounded by nature. With unobstructed views over the water. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2 persons and 2x 1 person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) on the hall upstairs. We would like to know if you would like to use a sheet package (bed linen & towels). Surcharge is €10,00 p.p. The renovated bathroom makes the cottage a luxurious place to enjoy the peace, space and nature.

Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feel when the trees change color or seek out the coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified city of Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Tolhuis De Klosse

In the middle of the countryside is this former toll booth of the Klosse. This cozy upper apartment (ca. 90 m2) is the upper house of a Norwegian Artist. The farm is 5 minutes away from Giethoorn. Equipped with a spacious dining kitchen, bathroom (shower, bath), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an open master bedroom (2 single beds) with dining-living room. The farm is surrounded by a front and back garden with various seating options and priceless views.

Fully furnished, with a cozy pellet stove and a wood stove, this is really a place to relax and unwind! The cottage has its own garden and borders a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.

Sleep in a nice king-size bed from where you also can watch movies on a large projection screen. The residence has large patio doors to the courtyard & has its own entrance and a free parking space in the yard.

(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (South). Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.
