Kenny was a great host and the property was beautiful, lots of space and very private.

The cottage was the perfect size for my family, our 7yr old used the futon. We enjoyed the clean and perfect temp hot tub very shortly after we arrived the first night. I am a residential contractor and it was nice to see quality workmanship in this space for a change. We liked the choice in pillows from thin and soft to thick and firm, also the clear check out instructions were a welcomed touch. Thank you Joe & Rachel !!! Andy

We booked this for our annual guy’s fishing trip. Red Rock Dam was minutes, great food in the surrounding areas like Pella and Knoxville. Great fishing, peaceful, spacious, quiet and the hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed the games provided but couldn’t use the WiI, the TV supports hdmi. Overall this place was amazing and will be booking again next year.

That truly was a great place to stay. The pictures made it seem like it was a bit bigger than it was, but those feelings kind of went away when you got inside. It was peaceful, comfortable… You can make it nice and cool in there and the bed was really comfortable. Overall, the place looked a little more secluded on the photos than it turned out to be, but in the end, there are no regrets. I would recommend this place over and over again.

Property couldn't have been more beautiful whether spending time at the river, in the woods, in the hot tub or the inviting interior space. Hosts were exceptionally kind and responsive. The intention and love put into the space is apparent.

The house was lovely. Host was very responsive when i needed any questions answered. There are large windows overlooking a wooded area behind that house that gives an absolutely amazing view. We’d definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The cabin is clean & stocked with the essentials. The patio is cozy and has a beautiful old tree that gives the perfect afternoon shade. Located close to the state park, mini golf, and a Main Street that has a variety of food options and a great coffee shop. Bradley was very easy to work with.

We loved the place. It is gorgeous, comfortable, cozy and clean. Owners are friendly, flexible and proactive. We definitely will come back.

What an incredible place. The cabin was gorgeous and had something for everyone. The expansive deck was great for grilling and eating outside while also having a covered area that was perfect for sitting at with coffee in the morning and overlooking the scenic river view. Sitting by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows while looking out over the river was especially nice. The first floor was filled with activities for the kids and adults with ping pong, foosball, and a variety of games for inside or out which was perfect when the weather was lightly raining. The kitchen was spotless and the kids loved the Belgian waffle maker for breakfast. Large counters and table made it easy to sit around, visit, and share food. The kids bedroom was great with 2 bunk beds (no fight over top bunk) and a queen bed while the masters king bed with its own bathroom was great. The owner was very responsive throughout check-in and easy to get ahold of from our experience. Highly recommend!

We had a delightful stay. We were back and forth to Grinnell for graduation festivities and didn’t have as much time to enjoy the property and grounds as I would have liked. But the cabin is clean and very comfortable in a beautiful woodsy setting. And the hosts made everything easy.

We had great time here, a good place to rest after hard working day, with great view. Definitely recommend for others

We had a wonderful Memorial weekend. Beautiful surroundings, fun game room and kitchen was stalked well. Close to Pella which is a great little Dutch town! We will go again in the future and stay at the same place.

Loved the cabin, the location and the lake (which is a very short drive from the cabin). We look forward to visiting again!

This place was so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful green rolling hills. Even though it was close to a busy highway it was very quiet inside. A lot of thought was obviously put into items needed. Very well organized and everything you could imagine was available. Would definitely stay here again. Such a welcoming place. As a plus my 3 yo granddaughter was able to run around and chase rabbits and look at the beautiful horses.

We had a great stay! Our kids loved sleeping in the loft and playing in the playground. It's a cute little place, perfect for what we were looking for.
