Retreat to a safe and private country road south of the Adirondack park and 15 minutes to downtown Saratoga Springs. Walk out basement apartment, located on 8 acres of property, with private entrance and garage parking. Queen size bed and queen size sleeper sofa. Kitchen, complete with all amenities. WiFi with smart TV and electric fireplace. We are a family of four, along with our dog Molly, living above the apartment. Although we do our best to be quiet, you will hear us from time to time.

We are located on a quiet dead end road where you can walk or bike for miles along the river. There are also two nearby lakes with beaches and boat rentals. We are close to ski resorts and shops too!

There are several outdoor activities to do in the area...fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling,cross country skiing & restaurants. Spend the day exploring and then come back to relax in the warmth of your very own private pool, sit by a fire on the patio or start the grill.

Our guesthouse is minutes from the interstate, but you'll swear that you've traveled miles out in "God's country." Surrounded by many Amish neighbors, we are centrally located to Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, the Southern Adirondacks, Saratoga, Albany, Utica, and the Mohawk Valley (all within an hour's drive or less.) You WILL be asked a series of questions prior to accepting request to stay.

The "Mellow Moose" cabin is a quiet and peaceful retreat in the woods. Spend the day exploring the region or simply relax in nature. Afternoons are great for reading a book as the sun shines through the large living room windows. Relax on the screened in front porch for a quiet evening and a drink. Or enjoy a campfire and watch the sunset through the trees. Use this as your home base for a ski trip or take a trip to Schroon lake, Brant lake or Lake George. (Roughly 30mins)
