Me and my husband stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. The place is absolutely stunning , beautifully situated on the lake and secluded from noise and people. The amenities are wonderful, we made plenty use of the outdoor hot tub. The host went above and beyond to leave a thoughtful hand written welcome note with a bar of chocolate. I loved that check in was simple with entry codes provided for the front and back entrances and for your own room. We ended up booking an extra night because we loved our time there so much. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect, beautiful and peaceful. We will 100% be returning again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for quick and helpful responses to our questions.

She is a great host, infact superhost. It's a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in this area. My heartfelt thanks to Shawna for making my trip comfortable and make me feel like home.

Went here for mine and my fiancés 14 year anniversary, and have to say that this beautiful home met more than our expectations. It was in a beautiful location, the interior and exterior was stunning. Loved everything about this place, the host was even there to greet us , but we stopped for supper and did not get there in time unfortunately . The hosts kept us up to date with clear instructions before, and during our stay, and were very helpful and welcoming. Appreciated the lovely wine that was left for us beside our bed , and it was very tasteful. We enjoyed all the amenities that they have to offer and felt very relaxed and at home. We even got lucky to have the place all to ourselves, our favourite part to the evening was relaxing beside the fireplace as it was very peaceful. Definitely will be back again closer to the summer months so we can enjoy some of the water activities ❤️

The house is beautiful, perfectly decorated and very modern. The view from the roof top is amazing and the outside ambiance would be a real pleasure in good weather. We were out of luck as it was freezing but we will come again next time in Halifax. The room was comfortable and cozy. The open toilet concept is a get to use too. The shared kitchen and living room are very spacious with beautiful plants and trees making it very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. The expresso coffee machine and all sorts of tea and tisane at our disposal was really appreciated. The onsite hosts Dima and Dima were very helpful and friendly. We were using Google maps and had some trouble with its directions. The street sign for Miller Rd. is hard to find so look for the B&B sign. Elmsdale was a convenient stop for us on our way to western Nova Scotia. Con is a great host.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. If you like B&B's then this is a must stop for you to stay. It's everything in the pictures and more. You are greeted at the house with candles lighting your way to the door and inside. The host Elizabeth is the most warm and friendly person you could ever hope to meet and best yet she's an amazing cook! Like fabulous! As soon as we got there she made me a tea and cookies. The room is immaculately kept. The bed is so comfortable not too hard and not to soft is was amazing and I never slept better. This is one place you don't want to miss out on.
