Beautifully converted in 2021 - with slate/wooden floors with underfloor heating, wood-burning stove, bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower, and a separate fully-equipped galley-kitchen. The studio has its own front door, with its own parking space right outside. Ideal for couples, we welcome family pets too.

The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet Airbnb and even though we are both in our 70's found it easy to walk down and up the hill after an evening listening to music in the Bay Horse.

Another great stay at Doug's place. It's a great flat, in a wonderful location, and Doug is a really accommodating and friendly host. can't wait to go back!

The accommodation was simply perfect. I went to Totnes Boutique School, which was one minute from the accommodation. I felt extremely comfortable in this flat. Richard and Vicky were unfortunately on holiday, so we only had contact at the beginning of my stay. I would happily return to this great flat at any time and spend any moments with them. Thank you for everything.

What a wonderful five days we’ve had at Stoop Stables. Everything you could think of was provided it was like a home from home. Lovely fluffy towels, gorgeous bed linen and the fresh cut flowers were beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook, plenty of utensils, pots, pans and crockery. We took advantage of the washing facilities which meant we didn’t have to come home to a load of washing to do, and the dishwasher was a welcome break from washing up. Julie kindly provided a high chair and a cot for our little one, which saved us space in the car. Julie was so kind, welcoming and responsive. During our stay we spent some time in the garden area opposite which was full of beautiful plants and flowers filled with wildlife. We saw squirrels, bees a number of birds and even a pheasant came to visit one morning. It really was the perfect little family break away for us, just what we needed. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!
