It was great experience with him. Feels like at home, both of he and his wife were so kind. He also led us to his tracking institute, one of best experience in life (recommended to try must). And his front view is so so so awesome. Love to stay there again on next adventure trip. Thank you.

The BnB was truly a home away from home. From it's beautiful and serene location to kesang and his family being warm, kind and beyond helpful throughout our stay. The space was cozy, very clean with a fully functional kitchen and had the most spectacular view. Kesang had been so responsive from even before i had booked the BnB till check out. He and his family put great efforts in taking care of their guests in every way from recommendations to booking cabs. So if you're in Darjeeling and want a peaceful getaway, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved our stay at daphne house. We were provided with all basic amenities and facilities and more. The manager Pranesh was very friendly and polite and made our stay comfortable and convenient while we were there. The location of the property is also good as its very close to mall road. However its important to note that its an uphill walk and can be inconvenient for the elderly or people who aren’t accustomed to walking uphill. But thats expected if you’re visiting hill stations you are expected to walk up and down the hill. A plus side of this though is the breathtaking view from the balcony of the master bedroom, it makes the climb so much more worth it. The property was everything we could’ve asked for it was comfortable cozy and we all especially loved the living room which was a great place to hangout. We also ordered takeout food off of zomato which reached the property without any issues. All and all definitely recommend this place and would love to visit it again.

We stayed here for 4N-5D with family and we had a very good experience. The owner of this bnb Sushil was very polite and very well- behaved. The view from the hotel is outstanding, location is also good but the way is a bit steep so might cause problems for aged people, but I must mention Sushil himself carried my parents upto Rajbhavan everyday proactively, appreciate it. All the amenities which is mentioned were provided and the behaviour of the owner makes it above 5 star.

It's a fantastic spot—peaceful and away from the daily hustle, yet within walking distance of the mall and Chowk Bazaar. Located right next to the zoo and HMI, it offers convenience without the crowds. While there are a few nearby shops and restaurants, they tend to close a bit early. Rishi and his family are incredibly warm and accommodating, making the stay truly enjoyable. The **biggest highlight** for us was how much my family loved the place—it truly felt like an authentic Darjeeling experience. One thing to keep in mind is that there are a few steps to climb from the road, which might require some extra care. I traveled with kids and senior citizens who have mild knee and back issues, but the stairs were **manageable**. Overall, it’s a stay worth recommending for a comfortable and memorable visit.

We had an amazing 4-night stay at SHAIL-AALAY. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful, with no noise just the calmness of nature and a beautiful view from the balcony. It truly felt like a retreat away from the chaos of city life. A special mention to Uncle Pimba, who was always so responsive, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality really made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature.

It was our first Airbnb experience with Jerome and Lucky. We were so glad to have found them with so many questions in our mind. Jerome answered all of it and guided us like a friend. Place was very homely. The kitchen has all basic essentials, you will get clean bath towels, extra blankets , well decorated house. Peaceful surrounding yet walkable distance so you can purchase for your daily needs if any. Thanks for welcoming us with open heart. You both made our siliguri experience worth it.

Very cooperative. All the 3 rooms are well-equipped. The location is quiet and residential. There are pharmacies, salons and grocers nearby.

Me and my family just had a great experience at this place. It was so damn good! Especially the views were amazing and also the place was super clean and matched my exceptions. The place was good from inside. The look of the building from outside may not seem appealing as it's an old apartment, perhaps from 1930s. But, the house is beautifully decorated in the inside and offers an amazing view of the Kanchenjunga from every room. We had the entire place to ourselves, so it offers privacy. Hemanto, the caretaker was very responsive and friendly. He was always available for all our queries and everything we needed. I can't really thank Marina, the helper, enough. She helped us with the chores. She kept the house squeaky clean. I traveled with three senior citizens, one of them couldn't travel most of the days and stayed in, Marina heated and served her the food we kept and stayed till she ate. There are a few cons: - There are forty steep stairs to climb. This should be highlighted instead of just mentioning in a sentence in the long description. - The bathroom ceiling in the first bedroom is broken and the bathroom stinks.

We stayed here for a little less than 2 weeks in mid - Sept. This was our first time in a homestay and we really enjoyed having the entire apartment to ourselves. For a long period of stay, a hotel room can get quite boring. The apartment was big and well- maintained and thoughtfully decorated. But the best thing was the view from the den , where the windows open on to the valley . We were able to witness the Kanchenjunga range in its full glory at different times of the day. The best way to spend time is to sit at the workstation and watch the sky and clouds while reading or painting. The caretaker Sunil was extremely helpful and took care of all our requirements in terms of arranging cabs and getting us our daily requirements of water etc. His wife Shikha is an amazing cook and her chicken chowmein and chicken momos were our favourites. She even learnt to make us dishes from you tube based on our requests. All in all, a memorable stay in a lovely apartment, and the host was very helpful in recommending points of interest and stayed in touch with us as if we were her personal guests . Highly recommend this homestay !

Sorry for the late review We enjoyed our stay at Sushil’s place Positive points are - view is very beautiful even better than tiger hills - host respond every time helpful in nature - breakfast is delicious (paratha with sabzi) more options available - tea and coffee is provided in kitchen we are free to make it - In room every bed has its heating pad due to which u will have a warm and cozy sleep - host even arrange bone-fire for us - location is good near Mall Road and Mahakal temple around 5 min walk - overall its a happy stay we are 9 in total Negative points are - it’s a hard time finding the location due to unclear landmark description(host came to fetch us) ( landmark - down lane to observatory or next to Mayfair resort) - always have written whatapp or mail screenshot of the final price u and host agree for extra people (so no miscommunication) Overall 🤩 We are happy with stay at Sushil place he responded on every call so that is something very good 👍

Place is same as described in pics.Morlon helped a lot in checkin and check out also do checkout the in house restaurant momos were delicious.Dont go by outside apperance of building place is neat and clean

Numa’s homestay is easily accessible as it is situated on main road. It’s at a walkable distance from mall road and share taxis are available right at the entrance. It also has great view on the other end and on a clear day one can see mount kanchanjangha from the balcony/windows. The Host is very kind, helpful and considerate. We were traveling with an infant but they made sure that we felt like at home. The overall stay was comfortable and is highly recommended to fellow travelers. 👍

We had a comfortable time at this place. The view of Kanchenjunga was beautiful from there. The room is exactly as described and in a good locality. The host was very friendly and greeted us with a Darjeeling tea every morning and set up campfire at night whenever requested. It's a good area and i recommend choosing this place to stay.

It was a great stay. Even though it was weekend and staff left early, Mr. Deepak was always responsive over phone calls. The fireplace was amazing, we clicked amazing pictures. Had an attractive garden with a very beautiful reading place. We stayed for 2 nights. On the checkin day we arrived very late, almost all restaurants were closed by then but Mr. Deepak arranged very homely food for us all. Overall, it was a great experience. We were headign to Pelling after Darjeeling, Mr. Deepak even gave a number for a stay at pelling which was amazing.
